What does Fluttershy do in winter?

I was watching winter wrap up today and a thought occurred. With all the animals in hibernation, what does Fluttershy do through the winter? Sure there might be some animals that don't sleep through it, but most of them do. And what about Angel Bunny? In the episode we see other bunnies coming out of their holes, so does Angel sleep through the winter to?

Let's start with the facts of which some you have allready said.  "To see what is not there gaze upon what is."

Has little to no income. (What is her source of income anyway?)
Barely has anything to do.

Can't grow crops for food.

There is no zoo or equivalent in Ponyville.

 

My guess?

I'd say either she travels and maybe helps animals wherever she can. Or she works part time at the pet clinic in Ponyville seen in secret of my excess. The last one I think is the most possible one.

That's a very good question.  Some people seem to think I'm a Fluttershy expert.  But I'll be honest...I don't know the answer to that more than anybody else who has chimed in thus far.

Unlike earth, the ecosystem in Equestria needs much more help to keep going.  My educated guess is that the government funds ponies like Fluttershy for animal care. 

 

Like Neutral Page said, not all creatures hibernate.  But there are fewer animals needing assistance this time of year.  Her garden wouldn't need tending to either.  There's just extra time and opportunities for her to do other things.  She probably works on her nice sewing skills too.

Not all animals Hibernate ya know. Dogs for example. there are even some snow birds who migrate With the winter instead of away from it. So she takes care of them.

I dunno why, but that's just hilarious to me. I doubt she stays in her cottage all winter, though, since she still has friends she can interact with, not to mention she can help look after other things or have some fun now that all the animals are sleeping.

Ah yes, Fluttershy and her dastardly heists...

 

Angel is definitely an asset, since he can blend in with the winter snow. No doubt Rarity is yet another one of her partners, her white coat allowing her to blend in as well. She probably smuggles her stolen merchandise through the warm homes of the hibernating animals, relying on their sleeping bodies to steal the stolen goods.

Fluttershy probably saves up money for the winter though, kind of like how the Apple family relies on cider sales to get through the winter. If not, her friends probably could help her out with whatever money they've saved as well.

 

But... and you didn't hear this from me... Fluttershy actually steals stuff with help from Rarity and Angel and sells it to underground gangs of Diamond Dogs and Changelings... but uh... like I said, you heard nothing...

Well she spends a lot of time with the animals so I would think she would keep watch over them as they sleep.  Then wake them up when winter is over.  Though not all animals hibernate so some may keep her company.
