Has liking MLP led you to like other stuff?

Words can not describe what has MLP led me to like after I became a fan...

There are so many things I discovered, learned, and experienced though out my life and the internet that changed me and made me more better.

All I can say, I thank Lauren Faust.

Well, I started getting into Attack on Titan after SaberSpark mentioned it. Let's see... I've begun making an effort to become more forgiving. I used to justify taking revenge by saying, "They deserved it!" but now I calm myself and seek a more... Constructive solution to my personal problems.

MLP has led me to listening to artists who sing in the show like Ashleigh Ball, Michelle Creber, Britt McKillip, and the like. Because I became more open-minded after watching it, I have watched other shows that would be considered 'girly' like Cardcaptors, She-ra and the Princesses of Power, and The Powerpuff Girls.

Watching FIM lead me here, and a fellow user convinced me subliminally to start watching "Kim Possible"!

Thanks, @cuteycindyhoney :wau:

Also, @Dark Qiviut convinced me to start watching DuckTales 2017 and now that'a basically taken over my forum life. Thanks! :P

It's led me to going on social media, looking at artworks, and reading fanfics.

I’ve pretty much done the same thing

Ponies also got me into psychology after I found a pony YouTuber who would occasionally talk about her mental illness.

I wasn't really a good person by any stretch of the imagination before I got into mlp, made me find a new appreciation for all things that I used to believe just wasn't for my gender, also made me appreciate music and art when I had never shown any interest into them prior. Finding mlp and this fandom has made me a better person and I..... quite frankly.... owe it so much more than I could ever hope to provide.

It was sort of a gateway drug as far as cartoons was concerned. It really made me go back and watch some things that I might have let pass by when they first came out. My taste in animation is definitely a lot zanier now than when I was younger.

This fandom also got me into EDM, which I'd really never heard of before. I had never been to a rave before going to one at a con. Now I make it a point to be there at every con I go to.

Pinkie Pride actually managed to get me back into "Weird" Al's music.  Other than that, by extension, the fandom ended up getting me into a couple of different games.

At first I rejected the zero, but that was because I simply didn't understand it. Now I do.

Short answer: yes. Well, at least at the time, the show did help me get me back to watching cartoons again. Plus, it helped me got me into fanfiction and art on Devianart and YouTube.

Conventions. My first ever convention I attended of any sort was BronyCon, and now I am no longer afraid to leave my home state and enjoy big things like that.

I can't say I was led into liking FNAF or Undertale because of MLP. However, I did follow the Bronies for a while, as they kept moving on to new things. But I kinda liked to stay within the MLP stuff myself, not just what was currently trending on the Internet

Dragalia Lost. I wasn’t going to miss the chance of playing a video game, even if it’s another mobile gatcha, with characters voiced by ponies :ticking:

edit: oh, I had responded already :muffins:
