Hum, I'm not a fan of downloading PBE personnally. I mean, I already have so much acount going on that makking another and having to DL another stuff with it is going to screw me around.

 

If we are all level 1, may I recall you that we will not have flash ignite and other things. Making a lot of champs useless in the processus while underectly boosting others (try to escape a blitz hook without flash with a character slow as fuck. Try to escape a gank with a character who needs flash to have survivability.

 

Going to level 12 is not that hard and I bet most of the players are already at that level on EUW.

There is a solution.

The patch test servers. And if that becomes a problem i guess we all have to deal with it.

Making everyone happy is impossible, but we can make it as good as possible.

Well MY issue is having 1000 ping regularly on EUW servers... this is why I would greatly prefer PBE servers since ping isn't nearly as huge an issue for me.

I reduced the amount to 3 champions.

 

Will probably not go PBE, Those who are level 1 got to take the bullet i guess.

And the PBE servers are only open 1,2,3 every month.

To be blunt, I won't be joining the tourney. I am 100% unable to download EUW and play at all decently because my ping over there will be 200-300+ easily, not to mention the fact that I own literally 0 champs on my level 1 EUW account. The only way I will be able to play(and probably quite a few other NA players) would be if it was on the PBE or NA server. Then you run into the problem of EU players not having good ping, but at least then the champ pools are going to be better.

 

So yeah. To be honest, this tourney will probably end up being dominated mostly/almost entirely by EUW players since you guys will have superior ping and champion pool, putting the NA/EUNE(ping would still be decent most likely for them at least) players at a severe disadvantage. And I doubt many people like trying to win a prize when another group has such a large advantage over them due to reasons beyond the player's control.

A bit of advice. At the very start, practice on (easy) AI, try out the free champs, as well as different lanes to see what you are good at, and once you have a bit of money buy some of the 450 champs you think you will be good with, with the exception of Garen, since he sucks in every concievable aspect.

 

Disagree completely with the Garen thing. He has a good laning phase, beating quite a few people, his ult is a solid execute, and since his recent change he scales slightly better into late-game by helping his E and Q hit harder than they did before later on. He is also manaless, so no need to worry about mana conservation. So yeah, he's an excellent champ to learn for newbies. Far from the best still, yeah, and there are probably better choices, but he's still a good champ to learn.

Actually since it's on EUW, @Valureon, I can't compete. 1k ping on average is way too much for me to do any source of good. I will have to decline this competition. Oh, and @Neikos the Omniscient, 150 ping is in my normal range for NA servers anyways, shame on you.

Yeah I think I'm with you with that as well..... If is isn't on the NA servers I'm going to have a pretty nasty ping and no champions.... Oh well... Maybe next time

And on a side note I'm seeing lots of people complain about 100-200 ping..... come on guys my ping hovers around 200ish

Hey, I just wanted to say I'm sorry if it seems I've been playing with you guys less lately. Since the changes to the rating system and with the rewards revealed, I've been trying to get my ranked ELO up 1500. I think I can do it and I have a good friend of mine Duo queueing with so I think we'll make it. I've also taken to playing with some of the people I go to college with, but I promise you, I will be playing with my fellow bronies again more often than them now, they are no where near as fun . Wish me luck in ranked, we all know I need it.

Forgot to post this earlier, but man. I've only played 1 actual game with Hec and I'm already in love. Seriously, I dived in 1v5 against them late-game as the suicide initiate, yet somehow in the ensuing fight despite getting focused by Shaco and Fiora while standing in the Karthus defile I never dropped below 60% health. His W is absolutely ridiculous in teamfights with its 30% health restoration from every single point of damage dealt to your enemies, regardless of who's the one decimating them. So fun .

I'm so glad that they added that Refund feature.

 

Even if you can only do it three times on an account, I finally got a refund for those skins I bought but don't like anymore.

So i've been using le blanc recently, and just sometimes, with an awesome pantheon, you can carry hard enough. Le blanc is so much fun, i recomend her to anyone needing a new agressive mid.

I'm from the Philippines and on the NA servers I have a ping of 250...... You're lucky. In the Philippine server though my ping is 14.

I tried Rengar after the buff. I must say he is finally a strong and viewable champion!

 

 

I play him as a jungler, his ganks are probably one of the strongest in the game.

Playing as soraka bot. We get ganked, ez dies, but then I get double from turret, e, and banana action. Ez: Omg y u ks noob

 

Seems legit.

 

Also I need more advice. I'm planning on buying Wukong, since I looked at my roster and basically I have no bruiser (cept for Tryn, but a. not sure if he is bruiser or just adc without range that can survive 5 extra seconds and b. I suck terribly with him). Also I have played with him before and I prefer his mechanics significantly more than Jax, Yi, Rengar, other gap closers, mostly because w and the fact that his e is multitarget as well.

 

Now after Wukong I'm stuck on whether to get Anivia or Urgot or Nidalee. Anivia is incredibly skill dependent, but has some great cc and an incredibly spammable ult, but mostly that ult. The downside is that I've never played once with her, the last time she was free was the week that I joined LoL, and that week Veigar was free also, so meh. That and her skill requirement means I will have to invest a lot of time in her.

 

Urgot, if I'm correct is the most defensive adc in game. Specifically, he can reduce damage, has shield, spams this knife thingy that does god knows what, has a ridiculous ult that suppresses for like half a minute and then forcibly puts you under enemy turret/some guy's ult 99% of the time, so he is also a decent top. Again, not the easiest champ, and I have no idea what his build would look like. I'm not really seeing the IE BT PD build on him.

 

Nidalee. I've never played with her before, and I have no idea what she does. But... dat spear throw. All my want.

 

So, which one? And yes, I'm buying all the 3150 champs, because it's pretty obvious that that price has the highest tier champs in the game.

I got Anivia and I gotta say, her Q is very nice. Nice, long range, and a stun too IIRC. It sucks to miss the walls (which glitch sometimes and people go through them :/ ), but she has at least some survivability with her passive and slows.

 

Urgot is pretty nice too. His missle and knife combo can hit an extremely long range. His ult is also hilarious.
