Do You Look Like Your Main OC/Ponysona?

Hello all, here is something I've been curious about this fandom. Every once in a while there's fandoms with fans that specifically make sonas, or OCs that represent them to a great abundancy. I'm just wondering how much your 'mane' OC does represent you physically, spiritually, and psychologically. For example, let's start with me:

Kinda. My eyes look like that, but it's dark brown. Light brown skin. Mane style is like my hair style, but I make the back of the mane long. The mane colours is different, of course. My hair is black, but you can say that, the point is, our hair is dark.

 

About the spiritual or psychology thingy, yes. Dark, sleepy (especially these days) and boring eyes, messy curtained hair, light brown skin colour, and the mane colours represent my love of sunset, end of days, and that I also pay a lot of attentions to different elements and find beauty in it. Sometimes the sunset is blazing orange, setting fire to the clouds in the horizon, and sometimes it's purple, or even pink, but once in a while you will find that the golden sun matches perfectly with the blue sky and then the purple of the night.

 

Even daily life, hobbies, and activities. He likes to be alone, I spend most of my time minding my own business. He loves studying what he's interested in, I love studying whatever takes my interest. Many more.

For his actual design, not at all. He has kinda wavy hair that's long in the back, I have hair similar to Shaggy's from Scooby Doo. His hair is blue and indigo, mine is brown. He has freckles on his face, I don't. He has violet eyes, I don't.

 

 

However, his colors represent my favorite colors, and his cutie mark represents my interest in astrological stuff.

 

His personality is almost identical to mine though, and some of the events in his backstory represent my interests.

Yes, I do have quite a lot in common with my Ponysona. Eyes are correct, the size is also correct, hair colour - correct, the mane is a little different as I like to style with different styles . The mane on my Ponysona is the most common style I use.

There are some things about him that don't match me, though...

 

 

That would be the mane style and green eyes.

 

As a human, My hair is combed downward, unlike him where his mane is combed more forward. I also have brown eyes as a human, but that doesn't make him look too appealing color-wise, so I just made them green.

 

Other than that, there isn't really anything that separates me from him. (Other than the fact that we are two different species, of course.)

The expression, clothing, and general mood and characteristics is basically the same as mine, so if I don't like him, then I really don't like me.

 

But, there was someone else before him, and he was then demoted to "OC" rather than "Ponysona" due to his coloring. I prefer purple over blue, anyway.

Not really. I try to make my OCs different, if even better than I could ever be. Not just pony OCs but all my main fan characters. I'm nothing special, and I would be humbled and awe struck in every way possible meeting any of my characters. I guess each of my characters represent certain parts of me, or any ideas and thoughts I may have. Although if I had a ponysona, It'd probably be a changing drone that looked the part of a pot dealing metal head.

nope. only thing i have in common with my main OC is the eye color.

i should make a real ponysona tough, just dunno how to get a mane looking good when it's only 2 millimeter long :/

Yeah I look nothing like my main OC or any of my ponysonas actually xD I'm so dull and boring where as my ponies are bright and colourful! I just wish I had the confidence to do something fun with my hair for a change

I based my OC Lyona off me, taking some aspects of myself that I like and removing the ones I don't. She was first meant to be a complete re-make of me in pony form, but then I made her act like not me and I decided to go with it.

 

The mane color is pretty much the same, just a little more brown.

Well, my Ponysona (see Ava) is a lot like me. The only differences are that my eye color may not be completely correct (but it is kinda my color) and that I don't have wings in RL (of course). And of course I am not a pony in RL (XD), but the black skin fits my human self again. Not because I am black (no, I am white), but because I wear black clothes a lot. So yeah, he is pretty much me.

My OC has has an exposed skull for a face. I don't think he looks to much like me. He also has anime hair that stinks up in the front. Overall my oc looks hardly like me.

I'm so fricking lazy, I haven't actually got round to drawing my OC yet.

But in answer to your question, yeah, he does. At least he does when I picture him in my head. Thin, fairly tall, with a long black mane and tail. (My hair is actually dark brown which I dye black BUT THEY DON'T NEED TO KNOW THAT).

He has a white coat, and I haven't decided what colour eyes to give him yet. Originally, they were brown like mine, but that's boring for a pony. 

 

He arts like me, and likes music and reading like me. 

 

He has a drawing pen for cutie mark which I may or may not redesign at some point.

 

 

Because... you know... he arts...

Nope. I don't have green skin, curly red/yellow hair, and orange eyes =p She's supposed to be taco colored, lol.

My OC was actually based on my username which is just an online persona. She doesnt even really represent my full personality, she's mostly an exaggerated personification of that wierd/insane side of me. Everyone has a weird/insane side of them

(also my account is messed up at the moment, so i'm using a slightly-differently spelled temporary account...ugh I'm a blankflank again)

Ok, let's count the differences!

 

- opposite gender

- I have short hair

- im not a ghost (at least I don't think I am...)

- My hair colour isnt white

 

And the similarities:

 

- Natural eye colours are the same!

 

Physical characteristics aside, I will say that I based the personality on a few of my traits. Apparent pushover, easily distracted and a bit clumsy, but a hard worker.

Not at all, but I don't have a ponysona, per se. However, I refer to her as my semi-ponysana, because I'm not nearly as self destructive as she is, though I assume our talent would be the same. (Hers is tenacity and mental strength. Some people think it's boring and/or stupid, but I love it.)

All we share is eye colour but that is coincidental.

I only call her my semi-ponysana because she has tendencies similar to me, only heavily exaggerated (sarcastic, sadomasochistic, depressed, etc.)

Yes.  Her coat color is about the actual tone of my skin, her mane is black like my hair, the style of her mane is often in the style I'll have my hair in (Although obviously not always), her fashion sense is one I often have, or something similar...(It's a style I like, even if it's difficult to get and/or make).  The only real difference between her and me (other than the fact that she's a pony!) is the eye color.  While hers is blue, mine are actually either a very dark brown or grey.

 

As for the picture.... you could probably get an idea from the avatar I'm using now but there's more on my profile page too. :T

That's about it. Everything else personality wise is very similar nonetheless. I simply cannot imagine ponies with crew cuts as their manes, which is what I have.

Motion is my ponysona, I don't think I am THAT alike to him, but I have been told that I kinda look like him so I guess I take that into consideration.

Motion has a very long, curly and wavy mane, same as his tail. I actually am the total opposite I always cut my hair super short, he's smaller than the regular stallion bodytype, let's say I am not small, not fat but I have strong built. But something I have super in common with him are the smiles, I like to smile a lot as much as he does.

Hair color, coat color and eyes color are pretty accurate I must say.

Let's see, where to start...

 

1. He doesn't talk like I do. (ex. using the same sentence only in my voice: He don' talk like ah do.)

2. His eyes aren't the same color.

3. His hair is longer.

4. He's a bit more serious than I am.

5. He's blue.

 

Our only similarity is we glare all of the time (it looks that way, anyway). So we wouldn't exactly look like brothers, but we both look  equally as mad about something if you saw us.

Well...I'm definitely sure I'm not Russian (despite so, he doesn't have an accent), my mane isn't green, my eyes aren't blue, and I'm not nearing adultery until a few years (he's 16/17; I'm 14) . The mane style (disheveled and a bit long) and talent is correct, however.

If my skin color were periwinkle and I had yellow streaks, I suppose I would look like my OC. My eye color is brown and my hair is black. Although I do like to comb my hair, it's fine if I don't comb it and only if short enough. If I had wings, I would most definitely use them all the time and fly with Rainbow Dash.
