Ninja Derpy, referring back to the thing you posted earlier, super muffin derpy has made some posts inthe orginal Natural Disaster thread. Maybe instead of restricting the entire RP to us three, you should send a message to the members who posted here in the beginning. I believe two of them were Holly Dash and Super Muffin Derpy. There were others but I can't go back there directly since I'm on my phone. We could all join together along the way.

If it's how to get yourself into the RP during the middle of things, then you could start by say, hearing about the team that's been formed looking for the Mane 6, and then setting out to join them. If you see the post I made in the "Private" Natural Disaster, then you could get a better idea of what I mean.

I've been looking into it, and I think I have a pretty good idea of what is going on. If I'm not mistaken, the Mane 6 were captured by Discord and now the OC's are trying to track them down. Now, admittedly, other than that, I don't know much, I sort of know a little bit about the character development, and I kind of know the feel of the RP. Basically, I'm looking for help on how I should start.

 

The character I would like to use is Enigma. He's a quiet fellow, and his magic is a bit limited but it can be quite powerful if used correctly (I'd best describe it as the "Hyper Beam" effect (the magic can be very powerful, but risky in the fact that it leaves him weakened and extremely vulnerable after using it)). Also, I'd like to point out that 'Enigma' isn't necessarily his name, but in-fact a title he has given himself for various reasons.

The "gates" are challenges that base themselves on each pony's abilities, pasts, fears, temptations, and what not. Think Silent Hill!

Yo. Shadow magic? Seriously? Why won't anypony stop stealing my stuff...

 

It's not shadow magic, per se, its simply the ability to change the being of oneself through the use of magic that stems from his cape.

This cape is an ancient item imbued with powers of both darkness and light, hence the 'shadow' part.

 

The cape itself is permanently attached to Enigma through a type of biolink. The cape feeds off of the most of Enigma's magic, absorbing his ability to do even the most simple magic while granting him access to very advanced magic.

 

The said magic alters the atoms of the user in various ways, thus creating extensions of the body, or altering the appearance (along with abilities) completely. When masquerading as another pony, Enigma's thought process falls in sync with the original thus granting him excess to their thoughts and memories if he is given entry into their mind (by looking them directly in the eye).
