books What magazines do you (or did you) subscribe to?

I don't know how many replies this will get, because who reads magazines anymore lol.

I used to subscribe to a whole bunch of magazines, like MAD, Consumer Reports, Guitar Would, Car and Driver, and Road & Track.

But as time went on, two things happened: I lost intrest, and also, I had to pay for my own magazines, so I had to give up some (Consumer Reports is expensive and MAD cut their curculation in half and they were still charging the same price)

Now all I subscribe to is GameInformer and EntertaimentWeekly (through GameStop and MovieStop, respectfully)

I used to subscribe to Game Informer because Gamestop asked to me so I was like okay whatever. But for some stupid reason you can only read them online now, so I don't even read them anymore. I miss having the physical copies of them :/

This is going to be a big surprise, because I bet no one else has subscribed to or read this, / sarcasm

Game Informer, I think it's a good magazine and provides mostly interesting information on games.

I was such a nerd when I was young, so I was subscribed to National Geographic for awhile. Always got a new magazine like every week and I was always so fascinated with the photography and some of the interesting topics it had, especially on the ones about our universe. :P

Well..I don't really do magazines anymore.

I have 2 magazines that were sent to me to order stuff online, but that's about it, really.

I used to enjoy Chirp, chickaDEE and Owl when I was a kid. Theyre magazines geared towards kids from ages 3 to 13. To my pleasure, I've learned recently that they are still being published, I'm obviously too old for them now, but it kind of makes me happy knowing that they're still a thing.

The magazine I used to subscribe to until recently was Macleans, a weekly news magazine. I was really angry in some point in July, this was because every news agency on the bloody planet was chasing the story about the royal baby. It was really crappy journalism for the most part, almost as if the entertainment reporters suddenly had the opportunity to write a front page story.

Then... I get this cover staring at me in the mail.

36 pages. I flipped, threw the magazine right in the garbage and swiftly canceled my subscription. 36 PAGES! Why can't they put that sort of effort behind some of the more important stories?

Those Science magazines are the only ones that come to mind.  I'm not subscribed to any magazine at the moment, which is fine by me, as I'm not a fan of reading magazines.

The only magazine I'm subscribed to is GameInformer and that is only because it came free with the poweruprewards card you get from GameStop. I mostly get my news from online so there really isn't any use for magazines to me. I did really enjoy Nintendo Power when it was around though. :)

I only recently let my Game Informer subscription go, I wasn't able to get the physical copies.  I missed getting the physical copies.  I still get JAMA, American Family Physician, American Medical Assistant and the Consultant ever-so-often in the mail for some odd reason...  I'm also subscribed to Discovery magazine, Scientific American and this magazine that's a mixture of beading, chain-mail and wire-working.

I'm subscribed to Game Informer right now but I haven't gotten an issue in MONTHS. I moved and even changed my address on their site and I haven't gotten one yet. I need to just like call them up and get the issue fixed.

I used to try to get every issue of Anime Insider when it was running though I never explicitly subscribed to it. I miss that magazine. I don't care how easily things are available online the magazine scene had some personality.

I'm subscribed to GameInformer, Lego, and that's it. I suggest signing up for it when getting gamestop pro rewards. Very good magazine.
