well I love fighting animations so I immediately loved it and then Dashie showed up being all badass and then *ded* and I was like O.O ... well ok then. Then flutters seemed like she was *ded* and then *SURPRISE NOT DED* and I was like 0o0. and then spirit bomb.

I've seen my fair share of grimdark MLP things, and it doesn't do much for me. I just kind of roll my eyes and shrug it off. It just seems to me like people are trying too hard to make themselves seem edgy while they watch a cartoon show about pastel ponies for children.

 

 

To each their own. I have my own fascination with gore, but it's not the same with cartoons.

 

I will say that the animation is pretty damn good though. Enjoyable to watch.

All those that say that the animator should kill them self or they're a psychopathy obviously don't understand the point of the guys creations. As one could say he is a shock jock, he wants to shock as many people as possible so he can see their reaction which usually consists of butt hurt without any form of intellectual criticism.

My feelings are pretty mixed about it. On one hand, I feel like it was a little disturbing, but on the other, I...kinda liked it(?) I dunno, it sort of has a Happy Tree Friends quality, if it met DBZ. Those qualities make it kinda entertaining. I mainly liked it for the fight between Fluttershy and Pinkie. That was pretty sweet lol. However, seeing Twilight and the other ponies getting brutally murdered is undeniably a little upsetting. So, yeah, mixed feelings lol

I give credit were credit is due. The animation was top notch it and his other work like cupcakes hd and Gilda wants you to shut up are very impressive in their execution. Also loves smiles music but the actual content is meh. I honestly coulda done with out it. But to each their own.

I hated it. Never going to make the same mistake of watching a video that I'm not sure about. I've always been afraid of gore and violence and I never did approve of Pinkie Pie doing such mental and dark things.

I knew who made it, and I knew what I was getting into. I was grinning during the build upto the first punch, and from there it was chuckles with the occasional lol. The contrast of the song and the visuals was, at leas to me, funny, Flutters kicking butt was easily the best part, though. Heck, even my anti=pony friend enjoyed it.

Stupid.

 

The animating was done well, but I just don't care for that kind of over-the-top spin on MLP. I'm not against gore/violence in the right context (such as in Breaking Bad).

 

On a side note- last time I checked Twilight and Rarity were unicorns right? Twilight once involuntarily teleported just because a CROWD was FOLLOWING her lol (Ticket Master ep.). Twilight has also frozen other ponies more than once (Castle Mania ep.).

A deranged murderous Pinkie seems like even more of a trigger for some kind of reaction to happen. They wouldn't just sit there while Pinkie was on a rampage .

 

I don't know if it's just me but stuff like what I mentioned from the show make things like Smile HD stupid to me.

It was a stupid and irrelevant video. The animation was not the problem, but the grim dark theme does not go with MLP.
