What's the worst morning you've ever had?

I spent last night drinking with friends and ended up getting a bit too hammered for my own good. This morning I woke up with cramps all over and a feeling of dread in both of my arms.

It would be wise to never do it again, but I'm a slow learner.

Woke up this morning with only 3 hours of sleep, stubbed my toe on my dresser. Went to get some coffee when I notice we're out of cream and sugar. Realize I forgot to wash my clothes the day before, so I had to go to work in dirty clothes, rush out the door, then I wait at the bus stop until I realize I missed my bus. Finally after an hour the bus shows up, I check my pockets and my wallet is nowhere to be found. Call work, tell them I'm gonna be late, finally I show up, boss sends me home because I smell like ass.

One morning, I...

 

• Tripped over laptop chargers that I carelessly threw on the floor from the night before..
• Dropped my dinner everywhere, so something else had to be cooked...
• Had to remake my bed for the 3rd time that week since I toss and turn a lot in my sleep...(I have around 11 blankets to place perfectly on my bed...so it becomes annoying..)
• While remaking said bed, I accidentally knocked off my curtains...
• I walked into a wall
• I kept tripping over the floor...
• I gave up and went back to bed...

Well neither of these are my WORST morning... but definitely some less than favorable ones. 

 

Once I locked my keys and my phone in my car while I had the engine running. I then spent the next hour trying to break into it directly in front of the main lobby of my university while people just watched me. Bad news was it was a gas guzzler beast of a car and ate a small hole in my wallet. Good news is, I managed to miss a couple hours of work over the ordeal.

 

About a month ago I woke up after a party covered nearly head to toe with a strange red substance. I didn't remember what happened, and I thought for the first few hours of the day that I must have fallen in something nasty or passed out somewhere I shouldn't have. It wasn't till that evening that I saw the pictures on someone's phone that I found out a girl and I had a condiment war and she had sprayed me with about a half bottle of ketchup.  Looked fun though, lol.

I jumped around in the house and Hit something REALLY HARD.

My foot felt like it blew up and I almost lost a toe and it was blood all over the house.

I was soo tired i had sort of a poker face while going to the hospital.

I dunno why, but i find it funny later on how my mom reacted. The next day someone stepped on my foot and same happened again...

Let's face it,every morning is the worst,but if i have to pick up the worst morning as far as i can remember it has to be the time i had a really important exam,i woke up,i tried to study a little more,realized that i was late,ate nothing,had a shower,stubbed my toe into the door and i almost broke it (the toe not the door) started running to school and when i finally arrived there i was early   :comeatus:

1. No, it's not serious, you silly thing. ^^ They're just postponing the announcement to keep us all in suspense. And they put this up to troll us. I seriously doubt they would have a market on the moon. xD

 

2. The worst morning I ever had was the morning after a huge family fight. I had gotten into a really bad fight with my mother, and everyone slept in. I made myself a bowl of cereal and went downstairs to the basement, where I stayed the rest of the day. 

 

I don't really have bad mornings. I have bad evenings. And bad days. But my mornings usually start off okay.

This was back in the day when I first started working at McDonalds. It was my first morning shift on my own, I was being trained to replace the other fellow. A nice gesture of him, but I never did that myself.

 

Anyway... So my day starts off as usual, sprinting around the parking lot at 4:50 for garbage collection and sweeping. I get back in and the disaster starts. I put the pies in on the muffin setting and get yelled at by my boss for the simple mistake. I then have my first encounter with the mustard package exploding and covering my uniform in mustard. I barely get the becon ready because im used to there being a second person to help. I had to cook 200 pieces of bacon and I was still very inexperienced!

 

Then the shift began, just me on my lonesome to cover muffin toasting, the grill and assembly. As I said, I was fairly new to breakfast at the time and still struggled with speed and remembering the muffins. Then suddenly at around 6:30, the big rush comes in and im entirely overwhelmed. I run out of eggs and struggling to remember what goes on what.

 

My boss comes back in the room and gives me a hand and once the rush is done, she starts yelling at me for several minutes regarding my poor performance. Then I'm shipped on break to deal with my emotional turmoil on my own... It's no wonder I was so religious during that point in my life, I was under so much stress and had nothing else to turn to.

I woke up one morning with a terrible headache and a numb arm. From there, I tried walking to the kitchen so I could take some painkillers. The first thing that happens to me is that I trip over my dog on my way there. After getting up and making sure she was okay, I continued on my journey for relief. I stubbed my toe twice in the kitchen on the chairs. I was able to take a few painkillers and immediately went back to bed. I have had some bad mornings before, but none that bad and painful.

Actually my worst morning was: I woke up because i was bleeding from my nose

I ran to the bathroom seeking tissues i slept on some water and bruised my head

Worst morning? Well, it was long time ago (I was in 3rd class in primary school then) day before vacations (22nd june if I remember well). First I was just playing on computer before school. Then, well, mom came home to say that my grandfather just died on his way to our home. I remember whole day with every single detail and I still miss him (he was like my best friend at the same, sometimes I preffered to stay with him than in my home). Even my mom (his daughter) does not remember that day with so many details. But well, I don't think I'll EVER have worse morning, I was devastated then and even now I really miss him.

Woke up dizzy, had water for breakfast, went to bed. Woke up,Grandma told me to get dressed to go to the grocery store. I ate a hot dog for lunch.I had Jello for dinner.I managed to fall down the stairs 2 1/2 times. I had every meal in one go.

It is hard to pick just one because I had a few doozies and pretty much all of them involve me going to work that day. I used to be scheduled late Saturday nights until maybe 9 and then come in at 7 the next morning. It is not the worst tired I ever felt, but it was still pretty bad. The most recent "worst morning" for me was actually Friday morning, even though the Labor Day holiday has been over for almost a week you wouldn't know that with how busy the store I work at has been lately. And since it has been so unforgivably hot this last week or so customers understandably want to go in early get their stuff and get back home so they don't have to fry in the heat the rest of the day. This means morning rushes and the problem is since my store usually does a lot more business at night than in the morning there is not nearly enough help which screws me over pretty good.

 

Since I am a backup checker in addition to being a dairy clerk (whatever jackass who thought making dairy clerks backup checkers is a good idea need to be slapped) I have barely had enough time to get any of my work done. I took a 12-9 shift last night, and it was the first time I was able to actually get anything done this whole fraggin week. Yesterday I found out there is a merciful God after all as I saw a sign in front of the store that said we are going to start hiring some more people this coming Wednesday (interestingly enough on September 11th) which means we will get more baggers and some people will get promoted which means more checkers which means I won't have to be up there as much.

I suppose this isn't something I've really ever thought about, but there is one bad morning I can think of. It was when I woke up to the news that my family dog that we had throughout the great majority of my childhood had passed away. The night before I had a migraine and didn't give her the attention I should have. I'll never forget that look she gave me right before I went to bed, telling me to come give her attention.

 

I had no idea that it would happen that night. She went through several phases of getting worse and then getting better there in the end. So I thought that might be another one.

 

Never again. I'll never assume that everything will be the same tomorrow. Because that's not the way life works.

 

Luckily for me, I didn't have classes that day. But I did have a band concert I had to play at around 7 pm, and I was bawling uncontrollably up to that very point.
