Cyan Blue 946 October 25, 2013 Share October 25, 2013 Yea so like, I hate disco xD Except for ABBA, ABBA is good. Yea, brah. You like totally left out the fact that like without thrash metal various subgenres of metal such as death metal, black metal, grindcore, metalcore, sludge metal, and even nu metal wouldn't exist. Like for reals brah. Well, Sooorry, I'm not even a fan of metal and I don't know all of the types. Yes, I know my post was vague, brah. So like, chill out brah. Like for reals brah. True dat. Though, I'm also not really into Thrash Metal myself aside from some old Metallica and some Lazarus A.D. I also don't like the fact that Trash essentially started because the original artists were pissed off with Glam Metal. If you listen to some old interview from the 80's, they whine and moan about a lot. It's kinda childish really. Saying that, I'm pretty grateful for how it influenced Metal in later years. Lumen 106 October 25, 2013 Share October 25, 2013 I'm pretty open-minded when it comes to music and I can only think of a few genres I really dislike. I don't like gangsta rap and other similar genres where the lyrics are often about sex & drugs etc. but there are still some exceptions. LittleRawr 679 October 25, 2013 Share October 25, 2013 I dislike country, dubstep and gangsta rap the most. I don't really hate them, I just prefer to stay away as far as possible... Metal is 'meh' to me. I liked Linkin Park's older albums, which were classified as Nu Metal, I believe. But I've heard some from other bands and it was less than tolerable. Blue Moon 6,341 October 26, 2013 Share October 26, 2013 My least favorite genre of music would definitely be country music. It's so annoying, and the lyrics are usually more or less the same. I just can't stand it. However, there is some good country out there, just no a lot of it. So, yeah, I'll go with country. Derpius 138 October 26, 2013 Share October 26, 2013 If it's one music genre I can't stand, it's that pop-country crap that they play on the radio. It all sounds the same: fake-sounding southern accents and the same cliches being used over and over again. All I hear are songs about "family values", "redneck living", sappy ballads about "Jesus taking the wheel" and such, partying, going to church, women commiting first-degree murder because their husbands cheated on them, and worst of all, those flag-waving nationalist anthems preaching "GAWD BLESS 'MURICA!" jingoism (Courtesy of the Red White and Blue being one example). All country music has become are these shitty cliches and stereotypes! It's basically pop music for right wing nutjobs and soccer moms. I probably wouldn't hate this shit music as much as I do if I wasn't forced to listen to it every goddamn day! It's everywhere: on the bus I take to my high school, in certain stores, and worst of all my family frequently plays it in the car. It just never ends. I also hate most dubstep, any boy band or Disney pop star, hip-hop, screamo, and Mexican tejano music (I live in Central California, and when people aren't blasting pop-country, they're blasting tejano music or hip-hop) End of rant. 2 *Insert edgy signature phrase here* I'm back... Ianpiersonjdavis 512 October 30, 2013 Share October 30, 2013 -The majority of pop music. -Skrillex/Dubstep (I have NO ideas what genre they're supposed to be.) -Country (Though, there are a few exceptions like certain Johnny Cash songs.) -Anything with auto-tune. If other people like this stuff that's fun, but I don't nor do I see the appeal of most of it.
Pat.Rio.T. 305 November 1, 2013 Share November 1, 2013 I don't like heavy metal music. Different types of music represent, and cause certain feelings(not necessarily strongly depending on the person). Heavy metal seems to give me an angry and rebellious feeling which I don't like one bit. Mephala 2,633 November 1, 2013 Share November 1, 2013 I dislike most rappers, but I do like quite a few pieces Grieves has created. He's a very sweet guy as well, and he has some pretty meaningful lyrics. And, of course, everyone has at least one DMX or Tupac song on their iPod, right? o__o (I guess my DMX song doesn't really count but whatever.) I don't mind electronic unless it's the really obnoxious loud kind most people I know listen to, and I don't know enough about the differences between each type to say what the sort I prefer is. Same goes for metal. I hate anything that's just sped up (nightcore? Is that what is called?) And I don't like any country, unless you count The Band Perry (which I don't because they're more poppy and I only have one song I like by them.) Except "Accidental Racist" is great. DND 2,355 November 1, 2013 Share November 1, 2013 - I'd like to say that music can come in any form, but rap... well, it's hardly music... and I do not care for it so. Why? Well, it's usually just a repetitive beat or completely artificial tune that comes with stylized talking, not singing. - I actually like some country since I grew up eight years in a part in Oregon where it's normal to see horses just down your street a little bit. But I'm really picky about it. Most of it doesn't peek my interest. - I really don't like modern pop because the lyrics and number of low genuine qualities about it make it hard to listen too. Anything else is a-okay by me.

I really don't like justin bieber... My favorite pop singer would be Ariana Grande. Take a look at Honeymoon Avenue. Or Piano. Or if you like preppy songs, Popular Song (if you like brodway musicals, you may be pleased with this). Or if you like 60's, Tattoed Heart. Shes beyond amazing tbh. But some of her older song are just...so...disney. Dont listen to put your hearts up btw. Please. Its so bubblegum and ugh. CT-1138 3,182 November 7, 2013 Share November 7, 2013 I dislike most music post 1989. -I hate rap. It's unnecessary vulgar and it's themes led an entire generation of white suburbanite preteens into thinking that they're cool because they listening to rap, which meant "dey gangstah". -modern pop is a sorry excuse for the genre. The themes revolve entirely around teenage problems or hooking up, losing the aspect of what made pop fun and "poppy". -Contry post-2000 would make Johnny Cash roll over I his grave. Country used to be an art form, now it's all about 'Murica, trucks, dogs, an beer. Ugh, what a disgrace. -Modern rock n roll is barely "rockin" Love is a most potent magic My FiMFiction | My DA | My Facebook
