So, as some of you know, or may not know. Microsoft has allowed MLP merchandise onto the Xbox.With that, there has also been 7 picture packs released. and 2 Themes

 

These are sorted by date released from oldest to newest.

I bought the elements of harmony pack and I was disappointed. They just took scenes from the show and made them compatible for xbox. They didn't even have all the EoH.

Yea, custom pictures would be awesome, but MS makes money off selling these ones,so I don't see them allowing custom ones.

While I do think the price is not exactly perfect, I still think it is better than Sony's offering at the moment, which is nothing but gaming related images. I do appreciate the diverse selection on Live and now ponies, never a bad thing. I also do think that the elements pack is a little weak but I like the rest of them. I have Derpy as my current pic.

 

With the recent Trixie pack, it does make me happy to see the further support in this area.

It's great to see these I remember checking out a Youtube video that went over all you things you get in each pack. It's super cool. If I still had a 360 I would definitely buy a pack or two.

Unless they have changed it you CAN use the camera (not sure about Kinect) to snap a custom gamer picture.  Obviously its pretty tricky though due to lighting.

In my opinion, the packs aren't worth the price. What I think would be cool is if you could pay a dollar or something to upload 5 or more images (better if you could upload the first couple free or make it free for gold) via the Xbox Live website, that way you could have custom images. I understand they want to make money, but what they are charging is not reasonable for what they are offering.

I got the first one that came out, and use Cadence as my picture. I also bought the Pinkie Pie avatar item. She shoots her party cannon <3 I think it was 3$ USD for her.

Remember that Xbox Live is a platform where you have to pay for texture packs for Minecraft.

I stopped using my Xbox before these were even out, lol.

 

Oh well, I despise the Xbox Live userbase, so I don't think I'm really missing out on much.

So true. The only thing I'm actually missing out on the XBOX is GTA 5. But I can wait till it comes out on PC. I dispise anything that deals with XBOX. The only reason I had an XBOX in the first place was I got it with a decent price.

I don't bother with buying "themes" on Xbox. I just use pictures off my PC for backgrounds.

A Wonderbolts pack would be the stuff. I was also puzzled by S&S honestly, but at the same time, it does show that they are willing to do stuff for lesser liked characters, which is surprising.

 

I got the elements pack and the awesome Trixie pack recently, I have all of the packs except for two I think. For a dollar, that Trixie pack is so neatly cool.

To spread the word of the glorious PC gamer master race, of course. (yeah, couldn't type that with a straight face.)

 

I was a pretty huge supporter of the Xbox brand from 2008 to 2010, so there's that. I'm not really a console gamer anymore, but you know what? Platform doesn't really matter towards how I view another gamer, but if they begin spewing bullshit like "The human eye can't see past 30FPS", "Nobody cares about the PC" and "You need a $2000 PC to play games", then I don't regard them as highly. Otherwise, I'm pretty neutral towards console gamers. I don't like the ethics behind the consoles, but some of my friends are console gamers and, you know what? They're pretty good people.
