While I normally take showers at school, I do prefer baths. It's much easier for me to relax and unwind after a hard day in the tub with some aromatherapy going on as well.

Soaking in your own dirt and germs, mmmm, so relaxing... :P

I get city water and go for showers. When I do indulge in the occasional hot bath, I honestly just lie there and chill. It's not as relaxing as it should be though because the water drain's derped (it constantly drains over time) and the tub's not long enough. Afterward, I scrub down with a quick shower on account of having just soaked in my own filth.

Well I live in Nebraska out in the middle of nowhere, so we have a well house with a pump that pumps the water uo to our house, so even though we have well water we still have running water. I also like taking showers just because it's easier.

Bath? What is this bath thou speakest of? I havent had one of those since I was 6. It's not because of the whole germ thing, it's just because I don't like wasting that much water nor do I have the patience to bother.

I prefer showers and I find them very invigorating. For me, there are two settings in terms of the temperature: burning hot and "holy crap" cold. I have a hot shower when I want to relax or think, it simply feels amazing. A cold shower is good for when I want mental awareness or deliver a good jolt to my system to wake me up.

And yes, it's city water.

Unless I feel like soaking for reason I take a shower, but it can be a pain because my bathroom is kinda small so the hot water raises the room tempt and I start to overheat and nearly pass out in there.

Showers. long, hot showers. I like to sit down in the shower and let the water wash over me, but sometimes I like to plug up the drain to get a shower/ bath mix.

Oh, and it's city water.

In my house, we use city water. For the shower or bath thing, I'd probably go with shower, because my house doesn't even have a bath anyway. ._.

I use city water. Now that I think about, I haven't been in the bath since I was like, 6. I just never get the time to soak in a tub of my own filth, I guess. What a shame

My secret shower life is pretty urban. Cheapest water supply in Canada here because of the Grand River, and I'm living in an urban neighbor hood so yeah... showers. I haven't taken a bath in years! I don't know... there's nothing particularly interesting about baths as opposed to showers. I think a bath takes more water, and sometimes I used to be very silly and while moving around to get my hands on some sweet sweet soap I end up knocking water out onto the floor (When the bathroom is on the second floor of the house, that tends to be a bad thing).

Yeah. Showers.

I can't do a bath. It makes me feel less manly and like all the hair I've spent years growing on my chest is for naught.

Really, though, I don't spend more than a few minutes in the shower and I'm usually in a rush anyway. Showers are great because I'm constantly being rinsed off with a stream of fresh water and it's nice to lean my head back and let the thing massage my head.

Cold showers are especially awesome during the summer after I've mowed the grass when it's anywhere from 100 to 110 degrees outside. I might even grab a beer and float in my parents' pool for a while on those days as well :D

At well, "home" it's very milky well water. :eww: Seriously, it's like I'm the only one who can drink it without getting a stomachache afterwards.

I used to be afraid of showering, but since I've gotten over it, I've been of the opinion that showers are far superior mostly because they're just cleaner than baths are.

We get city water in my apartment.

As for showers/baths? I almost never take baths, because I'm more apt to actually wash up in a timely manner when I shower instead of just sitting there in the water. I did take a nice long, hot bubble bath for the first time in a years last weekend and it was amazing. Perhaps I should do that more often.

I'm on city water at the present. I used to have well water when I lived in a rural area though. Well water may be more pure for drinking purposes, but I still like the nasty tasting chemical after taste of city water.

And I generally prefer showers for practical everyday bathing, but a nice long luxurious bath is nice for those special days when I can just soak in the tub and forget the whole world.

I don't use well water, and I think my water comes from the city, although I'm not sure of that - all I know is that my water is clean and it comes from pipes that lead somewhere.

Also, I prefer to take showers, not baths, as they are faster and more relaxing for me.

I have county water at my house and other property.  There is a well on my other property, but the pump is in bad shape and needs to be replaced. Hmmm, sounds like a good weekend project.  :kirin:

I prefer showering as I love the clean feeling. Every once in a while, I like to soak in a hot bath especially if I'm really sore from working outside or something.

I'm pretty sure the water I use is city water. I prefer showers because baths take too long to fill up and they also use up too much water.
