Justin_Case001 4,892 February 2, 2019 Share February 2, 2019 I don't even feel comfortable singing in front of myself. Like, I'm not even kidding or exaggerating here--if I'm alone in my car on a deserted road at night in the middle of the desert, I'd still be afraid to sing. If I can hear myself, I get uncomfortable. Hearing my own voice trying to sing makes my eyes literally water from the excruciating cringe. The only way I can sing is if I can't really hear myself because there's enough noise to drown it out. It's like the waterfall scene in A Quiet Place. EpicEnergy 23,218 November 7, 2019 Share November 7, 2019 I don't feel comfortable singing at all, so it's a big no for me. *totally not up to any shenanigans*
Dreambiscuit 9,820 November 7, 2019 Share November 7, 2019 I'm not a good singer, but how comfortable I am depends entirely on how drunk inspired I may be when I break into song.

Kamii 595 November 7, 2019 Share November 7, 2019 (edited) I hate singing in front of people. If I happen to be singing and someone enters the room, I lower my voice to a whisper or humming or simply stop singing altogether. Splashee 28,564 November 7, 2019 Share November 7, 2019 Well, I usually think I can, but then I get the first singing note wrong, and I get like 'What do I do now? Panic'

Narcissus 354 November 8, 2019 Share November 8, 2019 Singing, especially in public, is something I actually need to do sometimes. It clears my mind and helps me purge my poisonous emotions.
Cagey 4,248 November 8, 2019 Share November 8, 2019 I have a long, complicated history of singing in public. Most of which has ended with meltdowns.

Clawdeen 14,262 August 1, 2022 Share August 1, 2022 Oh everyday at work. All my coworkers get to witness me singing to whatever music I’m playing. I don’t care what they think lol 1 *You're a THIRD rate duelist with a FOURTH rate deck!*
Aticus the Adequate 264 August 1, 2022 Share August 1, 2022 Generally I'm VERY nervous and tend to shut up when I find myself in a position to sing in front of others. However, I am starting to get a little better at it in front of close friends and family.

Starset Twinkle 505 August 2, 2022 Share August 2, 2022 I feel completely comfortable singing around my family and/or when people are mostly intoxicated. We play Rock Band every so often and I have no qualms taking the mic. On the other hand, I would definitely not be comfortable in a performance setting where I was on stage. *shudder*

Cherrychip 113 August 3, 2022 Share August 3, 2022 Not really. I wasn't that confident before, but someone I was working with music on said I sucked and now it's like never again. even though he invited me to make a song with him after hearing me sing... I was gonna get vocal lessons but now it's like... Ehh If I do music again at all, it'll be in a jazz band setting, I hope
