A bit off-topic, but it would be more like Germany vs. Azerbaijan. At least Slovenia is a developed and somewhat known country, along with most of Eastern Europe.

 

Plus, won't people feel dismayed if their favorite ponies are eliminated in any way?

Slovenia's kinda like Flitter. Pretty strong, but not strong enough to consistently be at the World Cup. Azerbaijan's reminds me of Prince Blueblood here. Or Qatar. Better to feature a Germany like a Mane 6 right? 

 

Of course, like the World Cup, you can't please everyone. We Canadians are lamenting the fact our football team sucks and at the fact we only qualified for one WC in 1986. The English were really mad when they (unfairly) got eliminated by Germany in 2010's FIFA World Cup. That doesn't make the tourney suck.

Just letting you guys know that if things stay the way they are in Group H, then we'll practically have determined who qualifies for the 2014 MLPF World Cup from Group H. If that's the case, then it'll only be a matter of who takes Group Winner and Group Runner Up. That will decide which pot the character will enter for the 2014 MLPF World Cup Draw.

I'm not a very big fan of Fluttershy since in several cases what she does is simply appear and be cute. Though I do have to admit the directors made some improvement with her.

 

And Diamond Tiara is one of my favorite ponies, but I had to unfortunately vote for Twilight on this one. Let's face it, most of my favorite characters are antagonists.
