Man if I looked that good at 500 years old that would be amazing... That is what worms would do to you as well.

Really I would not want to live for that long anyways for various reasons. But imagine just imagine for a second what you would look like...  :eww:

Honestly, living to 500 years would be absolutely pointless. You'd be a walking skeleton by the time you reach 300.  :o

Pretty much only Russia has the capability to launch men into space on its own, yet THIS is what we are focusing our funding and efforts in? Yes yes yes, 'They have others'. Why not fix NASA? Or help third world counties?

Seriously guys, let's fix our problems before we start making new ones.

Ok assuming this DOES work: you'd still have to pay tons of money to them, like cancer or AIDS treatments. And if you cpuld afford it, wouldnt life get boring?

And another point, if it was available to everyone, the world would be overpopulated. It would be just like Goodman's nightmare in House of the dead : Gamer note start (BTW a great shooter. Its not just zombie and monster killing, It has a very deep story rarely seen in any arcade shooter.) Gamer note over.

But for those not ready to go (cough Dave Tennant cough) It might be a good thing.

I don't feel that I could form a true opinion on whether or not I would want to do something like this until I have lived a lot longer than I currently have. I am 17 years old, and I doubt I could make a decision like this until my 50s, at the earliest.

The greatest factor in my decision about something like this would be whether or not the people I loved would also do it. I would not want to outlive my friends and family.

In addition, I would take into consideration the quality of my life at the present, and the projected quality of my life for the future. I would also take a deep look at the current state of the world and where I thought it would go over the next several hundred years.

If, after considering the above factors and deciding that I did not have a reason not to do this, I would then reconsider my reasons for wanting to do this to ensure that they were good enough. The greatest reason would be to continue living on this earth for an extended period of time if my friends and family had decided to do so. I also want to be a physicist, so being able to live for several hundred years would give me a much greater expanse of time to learn and discover. I have a particular interest in the most abstract and esoteric realms of not only natural science but philosophy and spirituality. Exploring and learning more about such things will often be very challenging, so having more time to do so would be wonderful.

How interesting.

As cool as that sounds, I would just stick to my normal routine of 100 years of living, as 500 sounds endless for the boring reasons.

That, and because even with that much time, anyone's time will come by any moment.
