Nexon for sure. They are HORRIBLE. Customer support took 18 months to respond to my ticket, just to say "we're sorry, we are currently having a high volume of tickets".

 

When it comes to customer support, Nexon is one of the worst. I remember the big "hacking session" that occurred on Dungeon Fighter Online (DFO) back in Fall 2011. Almost 40% of players had their accounts hacked, myself included. It would take months to over a year for Nexon to give a response to a ticket, that is IF the person ever received a response. Most of the time they claimed that they couldn't give back the avatars or gold that the player lost, so they would just hand out a handful of NX credit (which is used to buy items on the game) to the player. I've known a few people who spent over $100 dollars on NX credit on DFO. One of them never got a response from Nexon after he got hacked.

 

Eventually, a lot of people stopped playing DFO. The player population became so low that Nexon shut down all American servers for DFO. If Nexon had built better security in their game and actually helped players resolve their hacked accounts, they would never have to shut the game down in America.

My actual least favorite company is Activision since they buy up the rights to good games and then release shit remakes of them that try to sell on nostalgia alone.

 

While I don't hate Capcom yet, they are starting to piss me off. They take forever to make new games and some GREAT games from one of their most popular series (Pheonix Wright) just stay lost in japan. (I am of course talking about Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth: Prosecutors Path, I would have been talking about Prof. Layton vs PW, but that's being released here).

 

Also, Square is climbing my most hated companies list. Partially because of the Linear and completely non Final Fantasy like style of Final Fantasy games and the lack of really fun games from their part.

 

Sega is another company I've been hating. Their forcing out unfinished, bland, and over all boring sonic games since Sonic Adventure 2. So they stopped caring about their only cash franchise.

 

In fact, I hate most companies that aren't Gearbox, Bethesda, Nintendo and Namco.

Well there are some pretty screwed up companies. But I hate those companies who buy some pretty decent old game makers and then dissolve them and just do nothing with them. It's so useless

EA is really screwing over Battlefield. I honestly hate how they rushed DICE into finishing BF4 when they requested an extra month just so they could 'Beat Call of Duty.', but I honestly find it would've been better if they let DICE have the extra month so they could show it off and say, 'CoD's new game sucks, look at ours, guys!'.

If we are talking any company, I nominate Activision, easily. Most of the games that they publish are mediocre to horrible cash ins, the management is horrible, they kill off game series by spamming them to death, the only care about COD and Skylanders, their marketing is hilariously bad, and so on.

 

 

It doesn't get much worse beyond them in the modern age. They are basically the new LJN. For those that don't know, LJN was a publisher, not a developer. They never actually made any games.

The guys who made Halo 2 and up.... I don't know who they are.. (That's just how much I dislike them...) but they gone and bucked up what could have been a very wonderful set of games! 

 

The first Halo, was just wonderful! Great story(okay not "Great" but good none the less), Great game play, and it looked really good for it's time. 

 

Then Halo 2... looked nasty... story was boring..  

 

Then Halo 3.. looked okay, other then that.. it sucked, they got rid of dual wielding... its like what?! you give us that in 2.. but take it away in 3... its like how?! what did MasterChef just get weak on us or something? 

 

Then Halo ODST... ewww. 

 

Then Halo Reach.. just saying it out loud makes me want to throw up a little... 

 

and Halo 4... never played it.. After Reach I gave up.. should have stopped at 2... but I was really hoping they would fix this shit sooner.  

Halo, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo: ODST, and Halo: Reach, were all made by the same company; Bungie.

343 Industries is/was an internal company designed purely for the Halo series, and they created Halo 4.

OT: I have heavy disdain towards EA and their structure, and I'm personally quite sick of their Origin bullocks.

EA is downright the worst in my books.

 

-They stop supporting there games sometimes less than a year after launch (LOTR Conquest anyone?)

-Zero customer support

-They're marketing model is greedy as hell

-I've bought 2 expensive games from them in my time that had the CD key used and they wouldn't do anything about it (about $160 wasted)

Blast! games. I couldn't find anything about them online, no website or anything, but I remember my mum buying me a few of their games on PS2 and they were godawful. Dr. Dolittle and a Flinstones racing game are the only ones I can remember.

 

I found out they also made a game based off Little Britain, which is like, the worst idea ever.

I never thought I would ever say this but Capcom and Rare, they used to be two of the best gaming companies but are now sad shells of their former selves. At least with Rare we can blame Microsoft but Capcom only have themselves to blame.

At this point, I am very disappointed with Capcom.........that is b/c they haven't had the nerve to release Megaman nor MvC (series on the Xbox Marketplace).  And to top that off, they were my favorite but ever since that............it really pissed me off,

Well........for Halo 4, I like it and hate it at the same time, but I like it b/c of the custom options as in armor designs, which is my lovely Recon, but most look ugly as hell.  The others are built-in sprint, loadouts, perks, etc.  Though it would've been better if there was an option to disable them.  Now, I mostly hate it b/c its missing a lot of things and i can go off to an entire discussion regarding it.   I was mostly disappointed with Forge and Custom Games.
