A Grand Idea, To Unite All The Bronies! Whether you are shy or not!

you realize this is to help the shy ponies, the ones as shy as fluttershy. Also the ones who refuse to come out of the closet. Its to help them make friends. I Know a single brony at my school. I've never seen so many people pick on a single person like they did to her.

this is interesting but i'm not for it. I live in an area where bullying practically doesn't exist so everyone has the ability to be open. if i want to know that someone is a brony or not i have a discussion that will eventually lead to music and from there i can bring up pony related stuff. a problem i see with this is that several people get tattoos of symbols so you would need something easily recognizable yet subtle. there is no symbol out there, that we could all agree on that isn't biased in some way or directly toward the show. in the end this would only cause confusion with almost every brony you meet in person since not to many people will get a tattoo or write on themselves constantly, just like that. it's better to unite, come out of that closet clad in armor and stand up for ourselves. no more being a little bitch. IT'S PONY TIME!!!

That's actually not a bad idea, but I don't draw things on my hands. XD Also, it makes it look a bit like we're in a gang. Perhaps if we did something different, something from the show that only bronies would recognize, and wore it on a necklace or T-shirt as a brony recognition system.

We need it to be subtle, but noticeable. Maybe A Wristband or something. Where I Come from if you throw a cutie mark on yourself, and you get bullied and ditched. I've seen it happen.

What is this? A cult? Although I do see where you're coming from but a symbol is not the best way to do it as it will fade. Maybe a badge or dogtags or something.

My main problem is the brony products out there are too blatantly obvious. Any gamer I know could easily recognize it. I only was able to squeeze my way out of being discovered when I made my Nickname for a video game Derpy. If you are open about being a brony, knock yourself out, but for people like me its too risky. They should make some sort of subtle wristbands you can buy.

This seems oddly like a rip-off of the early Christian idea of drawing a fish symbol in the sand to display your Christianity. I personally think this idea would never get off the ground, because the MLP fandom is much too disparate to all see this sort of thing, and the secretive bronies who you want to see it would actually be the least likely to see it. Hate to burst your bubble, but MLP isn't enough of a factor in many people's lives to become a silly "secret society" of sorts.

 

While I agree with you, you're delivery needs work. You come off like a bit of an asshole. If you have such better things to do, I suggest you sign out and do them instead of being negative about someone else's idea. You weren't being addressed personally. :-)

Lol of course I come off a bit douche-canoe-ish!   I found the idea completely silly and verbalized that. Plus, I'm not inclined to use sensitive delivery on anything that tries and treats being a brony akin to a religion. Sorry if I upset you with my negativity though.

There are already several symbols and references which we could use that only people who are familiar with the show would recognize. I have seen some people wear shirts with the ponies cutie marks or them as humans for example and shirts and other merch with non pony characters like Discord or Iron Will are also good because when most people think "My Little Pony" they don't tend to think of characters like that. For those that can't get that merch a simple symbol like the OP suggested may work though.

I personally won't do this- I don't like having any markings on me from markers and pens and such (It's always been a weird thing).

Besides, where I am, there's like eight guys with pony backpacks at my school and no one cares.
But I guess if this becomes a trend, I'll look out for markings on people's hands.

I like the idea the problem with it is that for this plan to work we would need mass recognition of they symbol. You would have to get the idea featured on EQD or some similar site for it to get the recognition it would need.

I think that a lot of you guys are lucky to have any other bronies at your schools at all. At my school, I'd be screwed when I mentioned that I liked My Little Pony. I give off hints all of the time, but I guess whoever I hint to just isn't a brony, or doesn't get it...

Personally I feel like the internet is enough of a secret society for me.But I can understand if there is such a great anxiety of bullying that you would feel the need to do something like have a secret code. But honestly, I hate the idea that we would let our antagonists make us go underground like this. 

 

But kudos none the less to all of the neat ideas for an emblem you all are tossing around.
