Seems like a large amount of members have their favorite pony in their name, this thread is almost pointless.

Well since you're not giving me more than one option Mr. Overlord, I'll go with Applejack.

 

Again, I've said this before, the main reason I find AJ to be my favourite pony is because of her personality - a hard working pony with a ton of honesty and (somewhat) wisdom, as well as a bunch of work ethic to boot and responsibility under her belt. Most of my heroes (and a significant reminder to my father) all are hard working and put much emphasis into work ethic so seeing AJ the way she is in most of these episodes makes me smile.

 

While at the same time, there have been two others that've been subject to making me appreciate them as well - Twilight and Pinkie. I find Twilight's studious yet slightly dorky personality very amusing and adorable (or adorkable as you people like to say) that it warms my heart. At the same time, Pinkie is a friggin' nutter - her bubbly, optimistic attitude should capture the hearts of a lot of people, especially when there isn't much to be happy about lately (not just for personal reasons, but maybe other reasons such as economy, environment, etc.).

Well, Discord/Luna/Celestia are still my tops and prob won't change. But as for the Mane 6, I gotta say, Twilight has been rising among the ranks really rapidly for me in the past week. Rainbow is still best Mane 6 pony for me, but right after her it's Twilight, now.

Pinkie Pie takes the cake as my favorite Pony; I feel very connected to her, as she at first appears random and silly, but knows what she is talking about. My favorite Episodes have all been the ones that Feature rarity. Derpy is one of my favorites just because of all the fan work she is involved in (Doctor Who/Whooves is best fanfic). Vinyl Scratch is my favorite Background pony, and Im actually decking out my new Ford Focus to look like (and behave like ) Vinyl Scratch. Rainbow Dash is up on my list, because she reminds me of my GF. CMC? SCOOTALOO! And of course, we all have to love the bad guys, and my all time fav was Discord.

Why is fluttershy the best? Dafuq? Her cuteness is overly forced and it's like eating stale halloween candy most of the time. i really only like her when she goes out of character.
