No, I cannot prove their non existence either. However science has never demonstrated the existence of such a thing.

Claims need to be supported with evidence. I know sometimes people get away with crimes due to lack of evidence and continue to be horrible people while being good at hiding what they do from others, but at that point there's not much that can be done.

I've heard of near death experience stories where people claimed the afterlife is real, but that doesn't mean I believe there is one. A subjective experience of what may or may not have happened, isn't enough, just because something happened to you or not, that does not necessarily mean you can demonstrate what you think you saw to somebody else. Do I think NDE stories should be investigated thoroughly? certainly. People who made such claims while they may seem outlandish, we can still respect them as human beings, even admit we do not have all the answers to the nature of reality.

I’ve always tended toward believing in such things, but recent reflection on the matter has left me wrestling with a few inconsistencies that I can’t quite justify. But thankfully, we can just ask @Clawdeen and get the real story!

Not really, never had any sort of paranormal experience. I've had this argument IRL before but I feel like a lot of paranormal experiences can come down to our mind just making things up. Our senses can be very flawed at times, especially in the dark and/or quiet, when most paranormal experiences seem to occur. They could also be caused by actual living things. Like noises in a house? Could just be mice or bats, especially if it's in an older house and at night, when both those animals tend to be most active.

In my recent post here I mentioned being on the fence about it, but to be honest most of my skepticism comes from how ghost hunters perceive what they call spirits, based on their own limited knowledge of what they’re doing. 90% of what I see on ghost hunting shows, videos, etc could easily be chalked up to misperception, an excessive desire to find something (whether it’s actually there or not), and of course, ratings; they have a show to sell and they can’t come up empty handed if they want to keep an audience. If I’m to draw from people I know in real life, and their experiences, I can’t discount ghosts or spirits, and I do believe there’s something there, whether it’s being classified correctly or not. Honestly I find the science of it fascinating.

Generally no, I don't think I've ever been haunted or anything like that. I have had a few experiences that have made me question, but I'm not entirely convinced.

If ghosts exist they're not doing enough to let us know, I mean, why are you hanging around an abandoned parking lot? 

Even if their spirits are attached there, they're just not putting the effort in, I mean come on, do you really, really want to haunt some crusty mansion for the rest of your non-life, it's ridiculous, ghosts are lazy and it's a huge issue, like one or two of them are making a good example and both of them are in that clown motel place.

Okay, I'm sorry for yibbering. Yes, I do believe in ghosts.
