   People, ponies everywhere, may we please stop quarrelling on who is the fairest of the rest, I don't like it when people conservatively stick to their advantages, we get enough of this already "Democrats are better, no, Republicans are better; the Tories are better, no, the Grits are better," it's this meandering back and forth that is make a mockery of the achievements and goals, we have set out consciously and subjectively. The ponies are a great civilization, and to bronies they represent a repressed desire of peace and acceptance, but the ponies do have foibles as well, like a clear class division, supernatural threats and regional inequality, not that far removed from our current trends, yet we have our great moments too, our capacity for good, and a willingness for purpose and respect, thus we can revert to a simple life similar to the ponies if we wanted. I have come to respect the advantages and disadvantages of people and ponies, there must be a middle ground compromise between these arguments, so that the end of said bickering could be ignored, anyway I just want to say that I like people and ponies alike, and no matter what there is always room for innovation.

Ponies are a different species from a different world in a different universe. I think in a real life scenario, it would be a totally legitimate exercise to determine which of our two metaphysical existences is objectively better.

But there is no way to stop the arguing. Personally, I dislike humanity, and so naturally prefer ponies. There are people who disagree with that. Whilst there are differences of opinion, there will be arguments.

I think Rarity is a bad choice to use as a measurement of the average unicorn's defensive magic. She uses her magic for basically one thing: picking stuff up and moving it around, and she does that mostly for making clothes. Even though she exaggerated a lot, Trixie showed the ability to perform some serious magic, and Flim and Flam both proved capable of doing that little teleportation thing. Even the Cake baby (I forget which one), who showed little control over the magic power, was capable of some powerful stuff.

Humans are the dominate species with no other competitive intelligent species to compete with. Ponies on the other hand have more competition and some of them are predators that can eat ponies.

While I agree that hasbro can't show nazi ponies, the Equestria we know and love from the show is a much nicer place than earth is, just saying.

We have wars, famines, storms, etc etc

They have very few 'negative things' and the few that occur tend to be solved by the mane 6 anyway

Take note this is A KID's SHOW can't have Ponies acting and doing the same as the Nazi's Schutzstaffel do in a war nor can they address other grimdark things. Because again, this A KID's SHOW! Humans aren't push overs either, for we got overpowered Mary Sue and Gary Stu too in some fan fiction universe.

 

 

The thing this is a kids show. So they can't address certain things, these things can only be addressed in fan fiction. Not ever in the show, ever!

 

And even if Ponie exist (somehow due to multiverse theory) what we see in the show probably a rare universe. They too could have grimdark futures like Warhammer 40K, The Walking Dead and Mass Effect in some universes. 

 

Samurai Jack is a KIDS SHOW and it addresses ALL of these real world problems. Children of all ages seen that show. Even the ones where FIM is appropriate.

But some people think Ponies are 'better', and therefor morally have the right to exterminate the entire Human race by enslaving our minds and ridding us of our Humanity to turn into pastel horses, because all Humans are evil apparently and it's 'good' to 'wipe out' an entire species if it's just Humans.

Yes, Yes and yes it has! There are several episodes that deal with slavery and the horrors of what happens to many of the poor people of that world and Samurai jack has tons of gore...Just of the robot and monster variety.

 

The very first place Jack went too where he had to fight off an army of robots. He was covered in robot juices.

Talking Dogs as slaves episode? Plus several others. Death is a very real thing in that world and its shown in nearly every episode.
