The Krogan or Humanity? Who would get along better with the Ponies? Like who would be best to make first contact with the Ponies?

Tl;dr: The krogan are a species of large reptilian bipeds native to the planet Tuchanka, a world known for its harsh environments, scarce resources, and overabundance of vicious predators. The krogan managed to not only survive on their unforgiving homeworld, but actually thrived in the extreme conditions. Unfortunately, as krogan society became more technologically advanced, so did their weaponry. The end result is that they destroyed their homeworld in a nuclear war that reduced their race into primitive warring tribes.

If it's the Krogan under the reign of Wrex, then the two likely outcomes would be 1. the krogan don't care so just leave them alone, muttering about them being to colorful or something. 2. They don't become bffs but they just sorta of reach a neutral understanding and just by being associated with krogan, it acts just as good as a military alliance against any other species.

At worst the krogan would 3. just simply kill them.

 

If it's humans.... Are track record of dealings with new, cultures/ societies and exploiting them (to put it mildly) make the krogan outcome number 3 seem not so bad. And at best we would turn Equestria in to one giant amusement park .

 

(Funny thing is for about 2 years in a pen and paper rpg I played as Krogan; he was like a krogan version Rainbow Dash with a little bit of Pinkie Pie [albeit one with a darker sense of humor... sometimes ])

I would probably say the Krogan, because with Wrex being in charge he could ensure that they don't try to kill the ponies. Unless provoked that is.

i think in that situation ponies would be like between tom and boulder... erh, i mean a hard place

but how did you ever come up with the idea krogans would be good at making first contact 0o

 

also, are we speaking about mankind as it is today, or mankind as it was in mass effect?

 

i think there would be quite some differences.

Well the Krogan don't get along very well with any kind of species,but the ponies didn't wrong them so, I will say the Krogan.
