So, whatcha guys think about this? Not particularly fond of the castle design myself. Looks like something REALLY insultingly girly cooked up by Hasbro to increase toy sales of the castle pony playsets.

Wow.  If that Castle is going to be in Ponyville, I would find that a bit obnoxious.  I can't even imagine Twilight would want to live in a castle.  She doesn't even like wearing her crown because she feels it separates her from her friends.

Okay, wait. I have two things to say.

 

1. That castle isn't that bad, and may very well still be in the Everfree.

2. Why the fuck does the DVD Titled "The Keys Of Friendship" only contain two key episodes? I genuinely don't understand.

It's possible the castle will be somewhat toned down when we see it in the show. I also expected her to take the sisters castle.

So is it possible that the box doesn't contain the ''Rainbow Powers'' that has been rumored for a while now, but instead contains a magic that changes the ''Tree of Harmony'' into the castle while also reforming the Everfree Forest by destroying the evil clouds and vegetation that lurks withing as well as reforming a lot of the natural creatures that live there. Imagine how awesome it would be to have docile Tinder Wolves, of Cockotricee's that won't try to turn you to stone.

I don't mind the palace. Saw Twilight having a palace since the end of season 3. I just thought that it would be a restored and improved version of the palace in Everfree. But I don't mind this at all. If Cadance can have a palace, I don't see why Twilight can't have one. It reminds me both of Golden Oaks Library and the Tree of Harmony. The second part kinda concerns me a bit, but let's see how it turns out in the cartoon.

 

And of course it's just something Hasbro made up to sell as a toy. The whole show is. What matters is how the staff producing the cartoon deals with it.

That castle isn't so bad. It might be in the Everfree Forest as well. It might actually be the Elements of Harmony tree. (Maybe it evolved into a castle?)

 

I don't know. Only time will tell with this one.

This looks pretty neat actually, kinda reminds me of the tree of Harmony but I love how it is just like the library, but this time it's a castle. :3 The design is good to me, not bad at all.

 

Seriously, this whole thing, if she gets a castle and whatnot, it has me really excited. I am really looking forward to it. She earned it after all. If this continue use to expand on her being a princess (which it looks like it will) then I am all for it, because as anyone who knows me would know, I LOVE Twilight as a princess.

I considered that as well when I saw the base. It does look a lot like the Tree of Harmony.

Did anyone else notice that Twilight has a crown on the cover? I wonder if Hasbro threw that in to decorate the cover more or is she going to start wearing a crown like Celestia, Luna and Chrysalis?

First off. The whole show was created to sell toys.

Now for my mane point. (That spelling is getting to be a habit with me!)

Twilight's castle, as it appears on the DVD is rather cute. Note, it's very small. It's about the same size as her library. I don't think Twilight would want a huge structure. Now for my attempt at foretelling the future. Could the Tree of Harmony have melded itself with Twilight's library? It is rewarding her for returning the elements, after all. It would want Twilight to be comfortable. I also think it's still in the Everfree Forest, and that will now be Twilight's realm. I don't like calling it a kingdom, since there are no kings! Her magic will be powerful enough to impose order on the forest, and make it safe for pony kind to live in.

NONE OF IT IS CANNON!

 

Did you get that?  It isn't made by the artists of the show and is not necessarily of the same quality.  That is not what Twilight's castle is going to look like.  It's what the idiots at Shout Factory think it should look like.
