My brother had told me a story when he was young, this is all non-fiction (actual event.) However, I can't exactly remember the complete story my brother had told (I could give you the essential parts, however.)

He told me when he was still in school, one of his fellow student had been stricken down by something my mind is failing to tell me. Now, what was inspiring was when my brother told me that the principal of the school himself sat right next to the boy and assured him as the car drove to the nearest hospital. It may not be those stories of self-sacrifice, but that story inspired me. It was touching that a principal would support a boy he didn't know of as he tagged along to the hospital.

(Note: the boy was unconscious.)

Again, it may seem small compared to those other more heroic stories that happen in the world, but it definitely gave me hope.

Too bad stuff like this doesn't get that much attention. All we hear on the news is death, pain, and destruction. Why? Because that's what gets peoples' attention.
