already. Who else from this gen will get a mega? I gotta believe Sceptile and Swampert have to in order to make it fair if Blaziken gets to have one. After that, who knows. Maybe none.

Yeah, Sceptile and Swampert should definitely get Megas in these. It'll be immensely disappointing if they don't and Blaziken is left as the only OP one of the Hoenn starters(even though its Mega will still no doubt be more OP than the other 2 in the end, but still). :okiedokielokie:

I think that the new covers actually insinuate mega forms for Kyogre and Groudon. None the less, one of my favorite regions, a very underrated region at that, this was the age that young 90s children were coming of age and really getting to appreciate the evolution of pokemon to GBA. It was awesome, and I really enjoyed the Hoenn experience.

I missed Gen 3 and was rather disappointed by that fact. I wasn't looking to go back and get a GBA or DSLite to play it, but I'm super stoked that they're finally doing this remake.

There's also been the possibility of mega evolutions of Latias and Latios. When Pokemon X and Y were hacked, they found models for two different forms of Latios and Latias, which suggest they may be getting mega evolution too!

I'm glad it's getting a 3DS remake. I liked that generation as much as I did with Pokemon red, blue, and yellow. I still have the original GBA versions ( along with emerald), but I'm still gonna buy it for the new additions added to it, like the mega evolutions in Pokemon X and Y.

It is very hard to contain my hype on this one. The third generation was one of my favourites and had my all-time favourite endgame content from any pokemon game: the battle frontier. It's gimicky, but fun and offers some variety from the battle tower (also known as the battle subway.) The remake also opens the possibility of move tutors which I really really want. Sure I could go back to black2/white2 for them, but I'm lazy and like accessibility.

 

When I was a kid, I got ruby version because groudon was so freaking cool looking. Although my competitive side is telling me to get Alpha Sapphire because kyogre is insane in ubers, I'm going to have to go with Omega Ruby because Groudon still looks awesome if not cooler with that new form of his

A lot of people saw this coming. The first two games got remakes, so its about time for the third. I'm pretty pumped for this, because I loved ruby and sapphire as a kid.

Awesome! I saw this one coming since all Pokémon games has gotten remakes, but it's still a surprise somehow..  Hoenn was a very awesome region and I enjoyed playing Ruby and Sapphire a lot I'm sure the games will be awesome, however I'm not going to get them because I'm not a big fan of the whole 3D-ish world and I don't want to buy a 3DS. ^^

I think they do the remakes 10 years after the original.But Ruby and Sapphire came out around 2003ish I think. 

 

Anyway these games are my second most played generation and now that it'll be updated I won't mind playing it again
