ExplosionMare 21,630 July 20 Share July 20 @Sparklefan1234 Same here! I tend to like romances if the characters are super convincing, though. Even then, they somehow get together in a matter of days and act like they already wanna get married. Slow down, people! As for the coffee thing, I've tried multiple types and none did it for me. I guess you could say I like my men how I like my coffee—far away from me! 1 1 Boom!

Same goes with tea. I wish I actually liked tea but I can't stand any of the flavors. Heresy!!! (Kidding. I know people either love it or hate it, no in between.) I never used to like yogurt but I started liking it a while ago so that's one healthy thing I like. I think it's healthy... 23 hours ago, Sparklefan1234 said: Television shows have ruined my perception of romantic relationships to the point where I think, why bother? I know "drama" etc. but television makes romantic relationships look like such a hassle because all they seem do is focus on the negative parts like cheating. In my observations of other people's romantic relationships the evidence shows that they're almost always a disaster. Huge cost in money, sanity, and time, No matter what people want to believe they virtually all end eventually. So many middle aged divorces throwing people's lives into chaos. I'll just stick with romantic fantasies and good romances in sci-fi and fantasy books(Not the romantasy stuff, just romance in regular sff.). 2

Kinda makes me wonder what causes all the discourse in the first place. I'm sure a lot of it is the immense pressure society puts on romantic relationships in general! It's something that should be studied if society really wants more romantic relationships around. We need positive romantic representation outside of fantasy! 1 1 Boom! Just grabbing one that you find somewhere to live with forever is pretty crazy when you think about it.
