The Pony Alchemist

I'd say this day aria, is perhaps my favorite mlp song, I know it's kind of dark, but it is musical genius. The song goes between major and minor chords giving the song a double meaning... Now that I think about it, Daniel Ingram wrote something about This day aria. (Oh, yeah thats right... They should've given the plot to him, instead of those derps in studio B who wrote the episode.)

My mom thinks that me being a brony and watching MLP is just a phase or something. But I don't think she understands how the show has changed me. She hasn't seen any MLP. My dad has a slightly better clue about the bronies after he took me to Equestria Girls. We talked for a while about the show and he asked a lot of questions about characters and physics in the show. To my knowledge hes has seen none of the show... Although I should probably try to show him the return of Harmony, as it has John DeLancie as Discord (he is a big fan of star trek and Q).

Cobalt Stallion... Is that what it got from my name? (it's Lincoln BTW) I chose male unicorn, and i got a blunt sounding name, well I do have a rather blunt personality, but I would at least hope for something less generic.

Basically my opinion was indifferent. When people would start talking about it, i'd be like: "really? what do you even see in that show?" but my feeling was never hate. Before I started watching MLP I thought it was only among people my age. If I had heard then that people as old as my dad watched the show, I may not have even joined the fandom.

I would us this system, but I am already a pony and I don't believe in hypnosis, and it only works if you have an open mind about it.

i don't normally like to go into head-cannon territory, but this just seems like something I'll have to indulge a little in. (here we go) One theory I have is that through a artifact like the alicorn amulet, he became immensely powerful, but corrupted. I could also expect involvement from a certain Draconequus, or any other chaotic entity. And for my last little bit of possible head-cannon: maybe sombra's powers come from the dark side of the force, if i may make the connection. The reason I say this, is due to the clear boundaries established in the show between normal and dark magic. and due to the ability of the characters (Twilight & Celestia) to manipulate this magic, I believe that this dark magic, can be related to the sith force. It is possible for non-corrupted characters to use the magic, however there are still characters that gave into it's full power and became corrupted. If this makes no sense whatsoever, I apologize, as i was really tired while writing this. But I hope this does give another view on how sombra got his powers

I was saying that due to the fact that only the victor writes history, it is a vanquish. had the forces of evil won, sombra's death would've been seen a tragic occurrence. But it all depends on the point of view. Does that make a bit more sense?

Well sombra was a completely underdeveloped, villain in a children's cartoon. therefore when he was "killed" no one could really make a point about it. And history is only written by the victor, so instead of the cold-blooded murder of sombra, it was the brave and noble vanquishment of sombra.
