Yeah all 4 of them :/ my face is going to swell up like a balloon and I'm going to feel absolutely horrible. I'm cursing 16 year old me for saying "oh it's no big deal I'll have them out later when they become a problem rather than now" 16 year old me is an evil, evil, horrible person and if he was here right now I'd punch him in the stomach. XD

Regardless of target or not we're the ones who contribute the largest amount of money to them. Bronies buy more merchandise than the little girls the show is intended for. A company should always go where the money is and we Bronies have quite a bit of it. Especially since most of us are adults who come by money more easily than a child. It seems like a poor business model they have at the moment.

Well the topics weren't exactly meant to be negative originally just some of the discussion took a negative turn which was just people expressing their opinions even if I may not agree with some of them. Reading them just bummed me out a bit, I don't really think they warrant a look but if you insist lol. They were in Sugarcube Corner "People hating on the brony documentary because it's bias. You forget that Cadence's full name is Mi Amore Cadenza though, which is Italian for "my love cadence" So technically her name does have to do with her power of love. -

Well the one I can recall off the top of my head is at the end of Magic Duel when Twilight is showing off her magic Derpy is in the stands among the crowd on the right and left side (duplicated Derpy's lol?). She's also hidden on the train in the opening title sequence too but she's been there since season 2. I think there's one or two more places but I can't think of them right now.

As it is I don't think anyone really has any concrete knowledge on the Derpy situation at the moment. She's had way less appearances in season 3 (I think only around 3 or 4) as compared to other seasons which is most likely so everyone forgets about the controversy last season. Right now I've seen both rumors that she's been canned for good and rumors that she's coming back in a bigger way in the future, soooo basically we have absolutely no idea what is going on. I don't think Hasbro would completely remove her from the show altogether though...not with the kind of massive backlash they got for editing her, imagine if they outright removed her? People would rage hard.

Sounds like a good idea however my only issue with it is that I have yet to find another local Brony :/ they're like ninjas or something I swear lol. Well that and the fact that we're having the weirdest winter ever, the snow melts for a few weeks then we get a huge snowstorm with about three feet of snow over two days that promptly melts by the end of the week again, so I would need to make sure winter was actually over. But it sounds like a great idea and a good way to help out the community. Now if I could only find some Bronies....

Watching that documentary really does reinforce your Brony pride. I know for a fact my life would be way different if I never found this fandom, I'm a much more positive and caring person now than I was before becoming a Brony and people have noticed the change as time's gone by. To find something that has the potential to deliver so much joy to the people around you and change so many aspects of your personality for the better is astounding. I'm seriously proud to be a part of The Herd and everything it stands for. It's worth going through any amount of hate imaginable just to have experienced something like this in my life.

Ugh...well at least we got a few seasons that weren't controlled directly by Hasbro. Alicorn Twilight? It's kind of seemed like it was going there inevitably no matter what I just didn't expect it so soon, thought it would be an end of the series kind of thing. Removed Derpy? That upsets me more but you know what? She's still going to live on in the fandom since we've claimed her as our own. All in all I kind of wondered how long it would take Hasbro to revert to the giant corporation mentality on the series and I guess it only took 2 seasons until they finally did. -
Simply put I think it's because Earth Ponies don't really have anything special going for them unlike Pegasai and Unicorns. After all a Pegasus can fly and a Unicorn has magic but all an Earth Pony has is...well nothing that a human doesn't have aside from four legs and no thumbs, so people would rather have some kind of special attribute if they had to pick one simply because it would be different. I imagine people who would want to be an Alicorn are drawn to it because they don't have to choose between flying and magic with that option and can have the best of both worlds not to mention increased magical capabilities. Kind of makes you wonder if Earth Ponies are ever envious of other ponies, gotta give them some credit for being able to do everything they do without flying or magic.

This is a no brainier if it's the person you're meant to be with they'll accept every aspect of you and love you all the more. If she gives you an ultimatum about anything where it's her or it she is simply a selfish person and you can do better. Besides, in that situation just think to yourself that there are plenty of single Pegasisters out there lol. In my own experience? My girlfriend thinks it's cute I like ponies.

I don't think I've ever heard of a case of a Brony making fun of a Brony lol, it just doesn't really happen often. And yeah friends'll do that, mine do the same thing. And you're avatar is creeping me out she just keeps staring at me while I type...lol That's pretty much how I look at it, I'm comfortable enough with my masculinity to not be phased by being called girly. And as for being called gay? Well I'm comfortable enough with my sexuality to not be phased by that either. Most of the hate we catch is dished out I think because the haters are so uncomfortable with the prospect of being seen as unmanly or having their sexual preference called into question. Pity the hater who lives in fear my friends.

Being called gay just comes with the territory unfortunately a lot of really insensitive people out there dishing out hate on those who are different, but they're the minority. I don't believe closet Brony was ever meant to be an insult, after all we kind of gave the term to ourselves because it described the situation those of us in hiding (better way to put it) were in. And Bronies insulting each other?! Now that's just wrong in every way imaginable, goes against what we stand for.

I think the main reason it's used is because it's become so comfortable to say, I'm sure people could figure out a different way to word it that says exactly what they mean but the problem is it's such a quick phrase. After all if I were to say "I still haven't admitted to everyone around me that I'm a Brony because I'm afraid of the kind of judgement I'll get" you know exactlly what I mean, however if I say "I'm a closet Brony" I've said the same thing but more quickly. The term just kind of got stuck in Brony culture to describe those of us who haven't admitted to everyone they like the show (even when typing this I wanted to say both "came out" and "become open" which goes to show how ingrained they are) It's one of those things that doesn't look like it's going to change any time soon. :/

This pretty much explains it's use, it's not meant to be offensive toward anyone who's homosexual. It simply draws comparisons that you will face intolerance in letting others know you're a Brony, while the term was originally used to describe homosexuals it's now kind of spread out and is used in other places because of the convenient analogy. After all if you're a closet (insert anything here) it means you have some kind of attribute to you that you will face intolerance and be ostracized for by society. Is admitting to those around you you're a Brony going to bring the same level of hate upon you as telling the world you're gay? In most cases no, however it does invite a lot of it and in some cases people end up catching more flak than if they admitted to the world that they were openly gay. Such is the case between a few of my gay friends and myself where they've actively told me they'd rather be gay than a Brony as I catch more heat for it than they do for being gay, but I'm sure I'm in the minority. Either way it's used not because people are ashamed but rather they're afraid of the way they'll be judged by others and are afraid of the emotional pain undergoing that would cause them. Just because the term originated with homosexuals doesn't mean that others facing hate can't use a comfortable term to describe being afraid of being judged unfairly by society. If anything thank the gays for giving the world a way to accurately and effectively convey a fear of intolerance from society for being different in such a short quick phrase.

We could always change it around so each refers to a gender, Brony for males, Pegasister for females, and the blanket Unisex term for both genders will simply be Unisexicorn XD lol.

That pretty much explains the general decorum of it lol. It doesn't really bother me when people say it but I end up saying it very seldom simply because in most situations I have no need to say it. But it does slip in a few times depending on who I'm talking to.

Brony kind of ended up a blanket term for any member of either gender who's a part of the fandom. So everyone can be identified as a Brony however some people would prefer Pegasister, doesn't really matter which one they say because in actuality they both apply.
No problem. You know that kind of stuff when you've had to deal with mice.
