  1. I said "No" simply because I have a wait and see attitude about it now. I'm annoyed because it puts here above the others, and while it shows that individuality is a good thing it could also bring across that you are only super special if you have a super special talent. I don't know really.
  2. I seem to be in the minority here then. I am engaged and will be married in Cctober. But this may be down to age as well, as I think finding a relationship becomes more important as you get older.
  3. I used to just glide through life. I used to be kind of negative, mainly due to just wanting to sit around and play World of Warcraft all day. (I'd been away from WoW for a while when I discovered MLP) Now, I feel super positive and I don't look at the ground so much and try to be the Mane6 in every way. Overall, it's just helped my attitude and whenever I think of ponies I grin. Whenever I'm walking to classes listening to pony music, I grin like a complete fool!
  4. Seriously `Scootaloo, there is nothing wrong with "just being a fan". That's mainly what I am, I COULD write some fan fiction as I'm a pretty good writer, but I never seem to get a spark of inspiration, so I don't. What are you good at `Scootaloo? Maybe do something MLP related with that?
  5. I don't think very many left, even if they say they have. I'm not a fan of the alicorn thing either, but I'm willing to see where it goes, and MLP is too awesome to leave over something that simply a marginal annoyance.
  6. As for Hasbro, I'd say that while I'm sad there will be no MLP Fighting Game, I support their decision as I understand it as a fan with a business degree. But reall, Hasbro, if you put just a little but more effort into your toys, and made them actually look like the show, I'd buy them all.
  7. I liked it. Good to see another take on it. It had some more specific questions in it, rather than trying to be as informative as the other documentary which was nice.
  8. Don't hide it. There is absolutely no reason to hide something you like just because you fear what others might say or think. Rise about petty stereotypes and embrace your inner pony.
  9. I'd go find that one guy at school who is just really having a hard time and be his Pinkie Pie for a day! I'd honestly just act super cheerful, as a female, and try and lift people's spirits.
  10. Keep Calm And Brony On everyone! Seriously, that's all I've got, but I think that's all that needs to be said. Just keep being that bright spot of friendship in the darkness, even to those that attack us.
  11. The reason I don't really like it (I don't hate it, just don't like it) is because even though Twilight has recently become my new favorite, I realize that she is ridiculously overpowered and dangerously close to Mary Sue status, compared to the other main characters. I feel like now she is even more awesome and the whole reason I liked her was that she was normal, but had a particular gift. Now that's all turned on it's head and thrown out the window onto some very sharp rocks.
  12. I've read your posts and they, frankly, don't make much sense. I have a marketing degree and I understand and approve of the actions Hasbro is undertaking to protect their IP. I don't see how this lessens the experience or hurts the community in any way that isn't rectifiable. FiM may seem like something that Hasbro could have just left alone, but in the reality of the business world it would have been bad to do so, thus the action undertaken. Hasbro, I'm sure, is working to license out the IP for video games and that's why they want to protect that area of the marketing spread. Hasbro cancelled an MLP fan-made MMO as well, so it's not like this is news.
  13. So you're saying that about 75% of the business world mishandles their IP? I'm more just trying to wrap my head around your point of view.
  14. Hey Copper, I just bought a program called Stagelight last night for $9.99, and I'm glad I decided to do that than by another program first, because I realized that I simply don't have the talent required for music production. (Brohoof to all the awesome brony music producers!) If you just search for "Stagelight" you'll be able to find it. The demo is pretty good, but you can't save anything and the only reason I've spent the $9.99 is because I had created a simple drum and bass rythm, got excited and then sat in frustration for 3 hours as I couldn't effectively make anything else due to my lack of talent!
  15. Well, my big reason for wanting to go with a tablet is because I really can't do drawing of any kind with a mouse, I've tried perhaps I just need practice, but I figured a tablet would be easier.
  16. Hi everypony, So I'm looking into getting into drawing fan art for MLP and I was thinking about getting this: http://www.amazon.com/Wacom-Bamboo-Splash-Tablet-CTL471/dp/B0089VGPII/ref=pd_bxgy_pc_text_y would this be a good beginner's choice? Also, I'm completely new to art when it comes to terminology and all so any tips and tricks on learning more would be most helpful! /)
  17. I liked them both. I thought the first episode was much weaker than the second, but me and my friend were like "Hmmmm let's watch another one." so I guess it did it's job!
  18. Oh, I do too. Just saying a lot of people, in general, don't. I listen to a lot of different music and I love listening to the instrumentals and such. It's funny because when I'm listening to something metal people are like "why are you listening to that?" "For the instrumentals." I say. Then they go on about how you can't understand the lyrics. That's when I kind of go "Huh?" because that must mean they actually listen to the lyrics in the rap music they are listening to and they are OK with it.
  19. I currently only have some Hasbro stuff. I don't mind the quality, but they forgot to put AJ in the "Pinkie Pie and Friends" set. Really Hasbro? Really?? Besides that most of the Hasbro stuff just looks. . .off.
  20. I didn't vote because there wasn't a "doesn't matter to me" option. I'll continue to love MLP and the community regardless as long as the community continues to actually hear the message of the show, not just liking it because "it's cool". I guess that could be termed as mainstream, but I think of mainstream meaning widely popular.
  21. MLP just makes me happy, plan and simple. It's raining here and everyone is walking around looking like their mom just died and hurrying to classes while I'm walking to class grinning like a fool listening to Brony music.
  22. Wow, when I woke up from doing this, I actually felt like there was a weight coming out of my head, like a unicorn's horn. Very interesting.
  23. I'm a combination of Twilight Sparkle, with a little bit of Rarity and the shyness of Fluttershy mixed in. I'm not very confident in many social situations, but when I'm relaxed I become quite. . .charming.
  24. If I woke up as Twilight Sparkle I'd start reading about some super awesome magic to make pastries dance, then I'm off to Sugarcube Corner!
