  1. F is for friends who do stuff without you... U is for 'uninvited'... N is for never experiencing any semblance of affection or friendship and wallowing away the rest of your days with ice cream and late night television.

Ice cream and late night TV! What's wrong with that?

  2. I'm a pretty good guitarist (acoustic and electric), and an okay clarinetist. I also have an alto sax and a trumpet I've been meaning to learn. I can hold down a beat on drums, but nothing particularly impressive. Interestingly enough, I play electric guitar like an acoustic and acoustic guitar like an electric. And yes, while the technique is the same, the styles are different.
  3. Personal messages, if I ever got any. All I get are brohoof notifications, which are actually rather disappointing. I get excited that someone might have actually replied to something I said.
  4. A lot of people, when not socializing, will look rather angry due to the fact that they are deep in thought. A lot of introverts are like this. I smile a lot when I'm talking to someone, but if they look at me from a distance, I look like I'm gonna punch someone in the face. It's just because I'm deep in thought. Judging by the fact that most people on the forums are introverted, most here probably have angry or serious neutral faces. Also, it is generally considered socially acceptable to have a slight smile on your face at all times. So when someone does not display this, they are already singled out as being "not happy."
  5. I wouldn't bother with trying to "convert" them. This isn't a religion. If they're curious, I'd probably give them Party of One. Sonic Rainboom is good at the beginning and end, but it kinda lags around the middle. Lesson Zero works if you want to at least show them that it's not all that girly. Twilight gets pretty scary at times.
  6. Information. I like thinking and understanding concepts. Doesn't much matter what it is. I love learning. If I didn't have such awful ADD, I'd read textbooks all day.
  7. Most of them except RD would probably be okay. Each would have a different parenting style. Rarity would be hit or miss. She might be good, or she might spoil her daughter and make her a prissy little diva.
  8. I haven't had my hair cut in almost 5 years, and since I started using some higher quality shampoo and conditioner (as well as using shampoo less often), it tends to be really healthy and manageable with little effort. Hooray for guys with hair longer than most girls they know! It used to look awful, though. It was dry and frizzy and all around awful for my freshman and sophomore years.
  9. I still haven't finished FEAR. I love it, but I can't stand it at the same time, because it's so scary. I also love some older horror games. System Shock 2 comes to mind. Homeworld: Cataclysm was pretty terrifying in parts.
  10. It's cute. It seems to be missing something in the sky or in the ocean. Maybe just a few birds or clouds. Or the sun, and then a reflection of the sun in the water.
  11. Two times that were pretty equal. A profoundly religious experience back when I was still a Christian. Regardless of whether or not the religion is correct, I know what I felt. I'm atheist now, so I know it was all in my head, but still, it was extremely pleasurable in a sort of all-consuming joy. The second time was when I realized I liked ponies. There's no end to the amusement I find looking back, seeing that my best moment as a Christian is equal to discovering that I like a certain cartoon. For about two weeks, everything was sunshine and flowers and rainbows.
  12. Space exploration would be splendid. Not that it really fits the pseudo-Victorian tech the rest of the show seems to have, but it'd be cool. Perhaps magic can cover the gap. I can think of tons of puns and references that could be used as pony names...
  13. I really don't care. I'll be dead. Since I don't really believe in an afterlife, there's no point in wasting my time on something like that.
  14. It's nearly impossible to control what you feel, you can just control what you do about it. What if the other's beliefs are harmful? Certain religions dictate that blood transfusions are not to be used, and there are cases where children have died because their religious parents refused to allow the life-saving operation for religious reasons. Then of course there are homicidal extremists. Then what shall we do with criminals? You are attacked by a violent animal. Evasion tactics are ineffective. What do you do? -- I'm not trying to be a jerk and tell you you're wrong, just pointing out things for you to think about. It's good to have a code to live by. It provides a solid basis for decision making.
  15. Sweet Emotion's tail reminds me of Steven Tyler's ribbons he always has on his microphone stands. Bonus points for the Aerosmith reference. ^-^
  16. Oh, another thing. It was insanely hard for the first few weeks. It's akin to a stroke victim trying to relearn to speak. All the letters are right infront of you, but every. single. letter. is. an. agonizing. burden. If you decide to switch, know that going back and forth at first will only slow you down. I'd recommend jumping in over the summer if you're a student. It took me about 2 months to get up to 50 words per minute on Dvorak, still climbing. My QWERTY was about 60.
  17. I've been typing Dvorak for a few months because I got awful wrist pain and stiffness with QWERTY. I'm still not perfect with Dvorak, but I do like it a alot better. No more wrist pain. ^-^ I switch to QWERTY when I game, and I can go between the two formats pretty well. QWERTY is a little awkward, but I manage well enough.
  18. All of them. I'd have a heart attack and shrink away where no one would notice me. They were all insane. Socially unacceptable.
  19. I think the rabid love of 80's music by a select group is in retaliation to the overwhelming hatred towards the decade. A balancing act, if you will. Most of the haters seem to have disappeared, though.
  20. Being an audio engineer, it's quite impossible for me to ignore sound quality when trying to enjoy music. I can't stand Youtube, because the sound quality is awful. I tend to order CDs on Amazon, then rip the audio into some form of lossless format, and listen to it from my computer. It's more convenient to keep everything organized on my hard drive, and it sounds way better than most digital downloads. The best of both worlds, if you will. Though, I will concede that the format iTunes uses has gotten a lot better. It's tolerable, at the least.
  21. Yet another INTJ over here. I posted the test on a few other forums, and had the members take it. About 50% of them were INTJs. A good number of ISFs as well, and a very small handful of ENs, but they were prominent members of the forums.
  22. Here's my Soundcloud, I put a few things up there. c: https://soundcloud.com/mixolydian-grey Hope you like it, if you listen. In other news... I still need to find an avatar...
  23. Not at the moment, but I could learn them fairly quickly if I wanted to.
  24. Oh, one I just thought of... Freddie Mercury is not a good singer. I've got the multitrack to Bohemian Rhapsody, and if you listen to just his vocal, it's pretty bad. He's on pitch, but the tone is terrible in places.
  25. - I don't like The Beatles. - I am the only person I've ever met who knows that the instrument in Stevie Wonder's "Superstition" is not a bass, slap bass, synth bass, or guitar. It's a clavinet. Everyone tells me I'm wrong. I laugh. - I don't hate Nickleback - I think Carlos Santana is overrated - I think upbeat swing is better dance music than EDM
