  1. Am I the only one to realize what we're talking about? I guess I am. We're speaking about Room 101! Oh, this shall be delightful. Someone call in O'Brien, we have thought-criminals to cure. Now, what would the Party use against these poor little ponies? For the Mane Six in general, I believe a bit of irony is in order. To break them, you must simply use their strengths (their elements) and somehow twist them into firing back on them. For most, all that is required is convincing them their deeds have been used to enable evil or have been exploited - convince them that the world is undeserving of their help and you shall break them. When they feel that the world is hopeless, offer them the aid of the Party. Convince them that the Party shall make everything right again, that under its rule these people will be cured of their evils. And they shall be yours. And don't forget, 2 + 2 = 5.
  2. You sure this isn't a duplicate topic? I could've sworn I've seen others like it. As for the question itself, I guess... Ah... Pegasus? I mean, Griffons have hands so that'd be the smoothest transition, and the ability to fly would be particularly interesting, but I would prefer to live with as many rights as possible. Though we don't know much about dragon and griffon politics or whether they've particularly oppressive, we know for a fact that Equestria is particularly peaceful, liberal, and capitalistic. I'd rather not take a gamble with the others and end up in a tribal setting, a militaristic regime, or, Celestia Forbid (I'm not a christian, so I guess that's an appropriate fallback), a 'communist utopia'.

  4. Constructive criticism? On youtube? Surely you jest! As for the 'hate', ignore it. I read some of the comments - if some guy wants to dedicate his time to disliking videos and hating on people over the internet, that's his loss. Don't encourage him with a response - perhaps he'll realize his folly when he is ignored. As for the video myself, I hate to be that guy, but I can't support the video without being dishonest. The first, and most important reason why is because it failed to interest me in the slightest. OK, you're a brony. Why do I need to know why? Normally if people give you reasons for something, it's generally to defend an argument made prior or to answer questions asked prior. As far as I've seen, this fulfills neither, so it's random and uninteresting. The second reason, which is a bit more on the nitpicky side, is your usage of the term 'gay'. By stating that 'saying I like My Little Pony' sounds 'gay', you're winning yourself no favors with the brony community, and adding fuel to any would-be troll's fire. It also comes with it a whole lot of nasty assumptions on gender roles and sexuality, which I have a feeling you have no interest in becoming involved in. I would suggest that you try to limit its use, as it'll do you no good in the end. I hope these criticisms are of some help to you and your endeavors.
  5. I think my favorite has to be Criken. He's the only one I haven't stopped watching completely after a binge or two, so that's something. Behind that is SeaNanners (Their The Hidden videos are hilarious), Niichts, LazyPurple, The Creatures, and Two Best Friends Play. I liked Tobuscus' Literal Trailers series, but I haven't bothered with his other stuff, and I haven't watched much of PewDiePie's stuff besides some Amnesia LPs, and that was a long time ago. I know of most major youtube gamers, but I can't say I watch them much. People like LazyPurple, SeaNanners, and Criken are great for some laughs, but I don't generally care to watch them at length. If I need some help in a game I'll look up LPs and click on the top result. Outside of that LPs bore me. If I wanted to play it, I'd play it, not watch someone else play it.
  6. A vote disparity of 5 between Fluttershy and Twilight, with Rainbow Dash even below that? You people are heartless. +1 Rainbow Dash -1 Pinkie Pie
  7. Honestly? I think it might be a taught bias. I wouldn't rule out innate, as you may just not be into it (which is fine, sexuality is a sliding scale, with people from 0-10, decimals included), but a lot of it sounds like 'this is awkward' rather than 'this isn't my thing'. The reason I say this is that your second paragraph was revealing - you indicated past hated for homosexuality, being teased for it (I assume, you never indicated what you got bullied for), and pointed out that you felt guys were not to be trusted with inner feelings. Though I'm only going off what you've told me, it seems to me that most of your problems with guys stem with your experiences with them, not the guys themselves. Even when asking, you seemed very worried. 'That would have implications I wouldn't be comfortable with now.' That sounds a lot more like you're scared of the possibility than just being generally confused. As for the sex aspect: I used to think I was bisexual when I was 12-13, and was only just coming to terms with it. Sex with another guy sounded odd at that time, but eventually I got over it. That - along with my parents' borderline hostility to the concept of homosexuality - showed me that it was a taught bias. I want to say that the same applies to you, but you may turn out differently. I can't know for sure. All I can say is give it a shot. You're in your early twenties, after all. It's a great time to experiment and to figure out where you belong. Though I'm wary that an online relationship isn't the best place to start (I've had mostly bad experiences with them before), perhaps the guy you talked about is an option.
  8. It's not that they assume you'll cease making friends, it's the fact you'll outlive the ones you currently have, and any others you come to meet. It's pretty demoralizing, realizing you'll live on but those around you will die. It can take a lot out of a person, possibly even make them want to avoid making friends in the first place. Personally, I'd take this specific opportunity because there's a way out. Had you come up to me and said I'll live forever, period? I probably would have said no. Though it would be astounding to watch as the human race matures and its innovation and creativity give way to new advances and frontiers, there is only so much you can do in... Oh... 10100 years. Only so much to see, do, and experience before the universe experiences true heat death. Now, argue all you want that humanity could live forever, but it's probable that we - in whatever shape or form we exist in in the far future - will eventually die (or ascend to godhood, depending). This means there are only a finite number of things to experience (and we're not counting godhood. I didn't get a one-way ticket to another plane of existence, I got immortality. Lets also assume I can't be a god because the immortality deal doesn't work that way). It follows then that by asking me if I would like to become immortal, you're asking me to observe as everything meets its timely (and sometimes untimely) end. Now, I'm a hopeful person; I like to stay optimistic - but I don't think I can see a good side to that.
  9. I do not come with sexual orientation protocols. Even if I did, I wouldn't know what to do with them. In all seriousness, I'm homosexual. Not much more I can say on the topic, without getting into details that I'm sure no one here wants to hear. Also, I find it highly interesting that asexuals are at about the same percentage as homosexuals. Nothing against asexuals, of course, but I've yet to meet one in my 17 years of existence (though that isn't much, I will admit).
  10. Down with GDI Pinkie Pie! +1 Rainbow Dash -1 Pinkie Pie
  11. I think not. +1 Rainbow Dash -1 Pinkie Pie
  12. I think you've forgotten that we're talking about 4chan here. Did them throwing a hissy fit really surprise you? As for me, I'm not going to touch 4chan with a ten foot pole. There's nothing there for me, and frankly I don't want to be associated with one of the founding sites of cyberterrorists Anon.
  13. This is pathetic, Rai- Oh, wait. Maybe I should be using positive encouragement. At least you aren't an orphan, or fat. Though I'm not sure about the parents. +1 Rainbow Dash -1 Pinkie Pie
  14. How cu-- >> Power out in sector C5-E. Cause: current redirected. >> Searching... >> Two organics located in sector C5-E. Cause of death: Electrocution. Oh dear. I actually liked those organics.
  15. Oh fine, I'll give it a spin. I'm probably going to regret this. 'Twilight Dash' ... Come on, guys. This isn't funny. Yes I do like TwiDash shipping but this is just too far.
  16. Protocol demands I inform organics of what happens when certain parts of me are touched, however that'd be no fun. Go on, lick it. Tell me how it tastes.
  17. I was not aware synthetics could 'lick' things. There is always room for experiment, however. >> Warning! Abnormally high current in Section B25-K. Please vacate area immediately.
  18. You've been unbanned. ... That was a joke. >> Specimen 'Addem Up' has been deleted under Protocol 42-B - 'Corrupted Genepool' >> Examining next Specimen.
  19. You're lucky my creators installed emotion protocols. *kisses*

  21. LapFox Trax, which is the 'record label' (the artist) for a bunch of 'artists' (his numerous aliases, all have different styles). Whose line is it anyway?
  22. Except that wasn't what I was trying to get across. Dubstep is often bashed, and so is Skrillex. Brostep, however, (as a term) is outside of the public eye. It's much more efficient to state that I like Skrillex, who is very popular and receives a lot of bashing, than to state that I like 'Brostep'. Most people aren't that involved in these things to know that sort of jargon. Actually, about that - it bugs me when people get frustrated because someone is ignorant on a subject (calling death metal/heavy metal 'screamo' because they haven't properly researched the topic, and are only going off what they hear). It's elitist and off-putting - if they don't know, educate them. It's like if I got ticked at a guy for not knowing about the Control Panel on their computer (you'd be surprised how many people don't know about it). He obviously hasn't used a computer that much, so it isn't his fault he doesn't know. On the same token, it annoys me when someone tries to remain ignorant. You're basically trying to remain stupid.
  23. 9/10 Godot has finally developed the coffee beam. Oh dear...
