  1. 300 members! Wewt! And welcome Nicolai. Pony forums are quite unique, I'm sure you will love this place.
  2. Time travel? Doctor Hooves takes the mane 6 back to see Celestia and Luna fight off Discord, but something goes wrong and their presence causes the Elements to be drawn to them because in the future they're the true wielders. But this means Celestia and Luna can't use them, so the 6 have to stay and help defeat Discord or else risk destroying history.
  3. I like the idea best that was posted here in another thread. Make the movie about Celestia and Luna's first defeat of Discord a thousand years ago. It would be a chance to see classic Equestria in medieval times, and it would accomplish bringing back Discord again, but in his first incarnation. This would also let us see the royal sisters united against him before Luna turned evil, we would get to see them work together to defeat him using the Elements of Harmony for the very first time and lay the foundations for Equestria as it would become. Besides, origins stories are popular these days.
  4. In Soviet Equestria, wabbits hunt you!
  5. Have some rabbit. I hear Lady Rarity Pony has a few spare ones hopping around.
  6. Think again miss Swan. Pirates bunnies are vile and dissolute creatures, the lot of them. And I intend to see to it that anyone that lurks under bunny ears or wears a bunny tail gets what he deserves... a short drop and a sudden stop.
  7. Ah, so they send likenesses of themselves to burn in effigy so that they can escape the torment of hell's judgment. How delightfully pagan.
  8. Oh my. Are you saying pre-gen4 ponies go to hell? But, but it's not their fault! Life is so unfair...
  9. I didn't know a place of eternal torment could get bored. What happened? Did it run out of souls to burn?
  10. Well, give kids some credit. They're actually a lot smarter than society today generally allows them to be. Many years ago, when I was just a wee lad, my very conservative parents helped me in learning to read by having me read verses from the King James Bible. Regardless of anything else, that did have the effect of building a wider vocabulary for me at an early age, and by the time I was in middle school I could converse with adults on an intelligent level. Now, I'm not advocating shoving a 400 year old Bible in kids' faces and making them learn to read with it. Heh. But I do firmly believe that children have far more potential for learning than we today tend to give them credit for. I think kids could easily understand concepts such as the Royal We, or Celestia's hierarchy and many other things, if we gave them the chance. Children should be encouraged to learn, rather than have everything dummed down for them.
  11. Agreed. Whether it's confirmed officially or not, I'll never be able to see Pinkie quite the same anymore either. If anything could override the Cupcakes Pinkie fanotype, it would be this: Genius Pinkie. Applejack: ...How about you, Pinkie? What'cha doin'? Pinkie Pie: Oh, letting Twilight secretly follow me without me knowing... Twilight Sparkle: You mean you knew all along?! Why didn't you tell me?! Pinkie Pie: [giggle] Silly. That would've spoiled the secret.
  12. Oh dear, and here I was set on voting for this one... Why do you give me such hard choices, bronies?
  13. Look, you even made the robot sad. That's quite an accomplishment. Now go sit in the corner and think about what you've done.
  14. On a completely unrelated note. NO PONY THIS WEEK? WHY DIDST THOU WAIT UNTIL NOW TO TELL US THIS, FIZZLE? WE HAVE BEEN EXPECTING PONY, AND NOW YOU TELL US THERE WILL BE NO PONY? WE ARE MOST DISPLEASED.
  15. You like having shards of metal in your ears and face, do you?
  16. Crazy busy week! Finally some time for ponies... :)

  17. Where do you work? A brass kuckle factory or something?
  18. I have street cred! Awesome. And welcome [REDACTED]. I hope you have a [REDACTED] and [REDACTED] stay here. If you have any troubles while you're here, please see one of the friendly street ponies who can help you and give you a [REDACTED] on the [REDACTED].
  19. So I'm curious what the FIF stands for. Friendship is Freaky? Friendship is Friendly? Friendship is Fantastic? Also, your signature is awesome. You know why it's awesome? Because I know who said it. He's an awesome writer, game reviewer, and I love the way he trolls the commentors in his articles. So I guess this means you're also familiar with the "Deploy Pony Ordinance" thread? Anyway, welcome! And I'm ok with being called a villain, perhaps more in the Gru sense though.
  20. Are you trying to confuse us into thinking you're not really on? I wonder how you made that post if you're not here... Or is that some robot ability?
  21. What really happened to Luna between Season 1 and her appearance in Season 2... Tiaaa's at it again!
  22. A very good read Pencils, I am truly impressed. Another episode where these behavioral traits and abilities are clear to see is Swarm of the Century. Pinkie recognized the Parasprite threat immediately upon seeing the very first one. Before the things had even begun to propigate she was already gathering resources to get rid of them. While everyone else was running around frantically trying to figure out what to do, Pinkie was assembling an entire one-pony band of instruments, which not only did she know would lead the Parasprites away, but she also managed to play them all by herself! How many other ponies could play all those instruments by themselves? She showed not only keen knowledge of the imminent threat posed by the parasprites, but also the ability to get rid of them efficiently. But because of her bubbly nature and wanting to fit in socially she wouldn't stand there and lecture Twilight Sparkle on the need to use music to lead the infestation away, but rather just set about doing it. She knew that in the end, her actions would speak louder than any argument would have. And again, regarding her mechanical aptitude, she's the only pony with a hot air balloon! Fall Weather Friends, that was so awesome. Actually, I wonder if the writers really planned for her to have such depth of character, or if this was sort of an accident that came together as they were writing the season? I know there have been situations where writers for various tv shows started off with no intention of doing anything particularly special with a character, then as things came together and they saw where the character development was going they decided to put more into it. Seeing as MLP is a kid's show, I doubt it was their original intention to make Pinkie Pie such an awesomely advanced character. Maybe this was something that sorta came together by accident, and when they saw how good it was going, they decided to continue to delve into her personality and give her the depth she truly deserved. At any rate, I definitely look forward to future episodes to reveal more. I am curious what you expect to happen with her. Maybe you could summarize a little of what you think will take place, and as the episodes come we can watch with you and see what happens. Edit: I'm also curious how you'd explain her behavior in the Return of Harmony where she seemed to obsess over the chaos rather than be interested in helping save Equestria. "Chocolate rain you guys!"
  23. I don't have anywhere near as convenient an excuse for disappearing. Instead a friend of mine introduced me to Dragon Age: Origins and I've been hooked playing that all week. Stupid fun fantasy games.
