Its been brought up already, but the moment Fluttershy got "Nopony gives a flying f....." out her mouth my jaw dropped. If you listen closely, there is a slight pause from the start of the word(f.....) to its completion (....eather) almost like the va realized what she was about to say. -
All I could think of when I read the title of this thread was Curtis got slapped by a white teacher!

Why do I seem to remember some reference to Rarity enjoying cooking? Maybe her and Pinkie share an affinity for the culinary arts, and tend to go grocery shopping together? -
Ok, so I am writing a fan fic for the very first time. Ever. You can find it at my site, Chimi Cherry Chonga!. My first chapter is all about how Twilight handles the news of her brother's engagement. My wife wore her Derpy Nouveau shirt to her classes and we both had a big lunch of muffins. I also interviewed Aviators for my site, but that wasnt part of the Derpy day festivities.

They speak english for the same reason that every alien in Star Trek and Stargate speak english: We speak english and on the whole dont like to read television. -

Actually, the odds of getting one of the mane 6 at random from a full box of blindbags is better than you think. 6 regular mane 6 figures + 3 special editions (Twilight Pinkie and Rainbow) = 9 of the Mane 6 in the box. So your ratio is 9 out of 24, or 3:8 chance of getting a Mane 6 character. And if it was actually a partial box, your odds go up.

All things considered, I am happy with the name Ditzy in show. If it means we get to keep our favorite mailmare in the background, or even better, having more scenes with the Mane 6, I can accept her original name. Notice in the letter that she was going to be named Ditzy in the first place, plus the scene was originally much longer. Pretty much the whole reason it was shortened was for the running time of the episode. I now look at it as her given name is Ditzy Do and her nick name is Derpy. Even if it is never said again on the show (which it wont be) no one said she cant be Derpy in our hearts. -
Friendship Express DVD Quality Problems

Hmm, there is definitely a delay on the video in the first episode. I had to watch REALLY closely to spot it, but it is there. Now to watch the other 4 and see how badly they got hit. Theres no way Ill return this disc though, its my hard copy of OD (Original Derpy) -
My favorite of the series is Snake Eater, Naked Snake is just an awesome, determined character. (Even if he is basically Solid Snake) And the story is much more James Bond like with a healthy dose of Cold War paranoia thrown in. I wont spoil anything for those who havent played it, but Boss's storyline is a thing of beauty, and requires multiple play throughs to truly appreciate.

My favorites for the mane six go in this order: 1 Rainbow Dash cause I grew up the tomboy with a football player brother that used me for a tackling dummy. 2 Pinkie Pie cause her laughter, and general herness are addicting and fun. Fluttershy because she is just so adorable. 4 Apple Jack, she appeals to my country girl roots, shes hardworking and truthful. The last two spots are shared by Twilight and Rarity. I can relate to Twilights love of reading, but in the end, her role is the straight man, and the straight man is never the standout. And Rarity, while I get her character, and can see where others would love her the most, just represents everything Im not.

I enjoy a ton of movie genres, thanks to my husband. He was a movie junkie when we met and its rubbed off on me. Together we own something like 700 movies. -
