    I thought you meant the Apple Family when I saw the header ahaha I have never had a MAC so I can't speak for that. I have an old iPod Nano that I still loooove <3 <3 <3 But I recently switched to iPhone from my Droid and... I really, really miss the Droid So I guess in my experience, it's hit or miss.

    Me either. I think it happened pretty organically and it makes total sense for her to be a princess. I think she's still the same pony, just with wings and more responsibilities now ^.^ Honestly, it feels really strange now to see old episodes or fanart of her WITHOUT wings.

    I agree with the overall consensus here. I think that Applejack and Big Mac had to step up to the plate in a big way once their parents passed away, which is why they are so hardworking and responsible. Plus they're in charge of disciplining Apple Bloom, which would be pretty far outside the role of normal older siblings if they still had parents to do the job. Another thing, they get all their life wisdom from Granny Smith which would normally come from a parent. I think the creators of the show have made it abundantly clear that they are running the farm on their own. There's also the fact that it has been confirmed by the creators outside the show, but I think there's enough evidence in the show to not even need that confirmation.

    I don't draw but I do create, so I guess this advice is more generic. But the mantra "practice makes perfect" is soo true. The more you draw (or sculpt, or sew, or ice carve, or blow up mountains to make Presidents' faces, or whatever it is you do), the better you'll get at it! Don't get discouraged if you don't love your drawings at first. Creative people have a curse where we get better as we create things, so it never looks quite good enough to us. But I promise if you stick with it you will see improvement ^.^ Oh, also, look at people who make beautiful art in the style you like to do. Let their pieces inspire you, and if they're willing to give advice, take it!

    I definitely think it was just a one-off joke. She was depressed, so she ate a bunch of ice cream. Don't we all? Plus, one ice cream binge wouldn't make even a human gain much if any weight. If she were having ice cream binges every night, then maybe we could figure there was something up.

    Like, other movies or cartoons that are typically aimed at children. Personally I love watching the Tinkerbell movies and Disney Princesses ^.^

    He sorta reminds me of that pony whose name I can't be bothered to look up, who came to Ponyville when Rarity was master of ceremonies and fell in love with Applejack. Super amazing drawing ^.^ I've always wanted to be able to draw, but I guess some people just aren't cut out for it T_T Thanks for sharing your art with us ^.^

    That is so sweet of you to offer! I have made a few with hand embroidered eyes, but they NEVER come out as nice looking as that one Plus it takes soooOOoOOOOoo long for me to hand embroider them v.v Usually like 2-3 days PER EYE. I don't know much about embroidery, but my friend who does said I used a "silk stitch". I would love to hear advice from you since that eye looks mind blowingly amazing.

    Thank you for the nice feedback, everyone. ^.^ It makes my heart happy that I was able to make something that brought a little bit of joy to people's days ^.^ I'm sorry the legs are wrong *goes and cries in a corner* I already drafted a new pattern so the next ones I make will be better ^.^

    I used to love J-Pop music (still listen to it on occasion) and I can honestly say there was NO difference between her video and the average J-Pop video. In fact, most J-Pop videos are FAR crazier than hers. I don't think it's going out on too much of a limb to guess that she made that video specifically FOR her Japanese fan base.

    Mine was like everyone else: a toss-up between Pinkie and Dashie. Eventually went with Dashie because she seems like she would enjoy being a troublemaker whereas I don't think Pinkie would KNOWINGLY break a law...

    Thanks for the feedback! I actually think it's just the overhead angle that makes them look like that, if you click through to my DA I've posted a few more angles of her including one that's a bit closer up on the eye and cutie mark ^.^
