  1. Apparently I already found all of them? I was wondering where it all came from.
  2. I'd go with Celestia. I wouldn't mind helping her out or lending an ear with woes or happy thoughts, and I imagine she'd able to teach me quite a few things she'd learned over her lifetime.
  3. Mixed bag, with its pros and cons Definite pros, no DRM, period. It has its platform if you wanna manage your games, but it's completely optional. Good selection of retro games, modified to run on modern rigs, fair selection of indie stuff as well, not so much for AAA stuff. Cons, no workshop style functionality for mods. Less active community, due to smaller customer size, but overall friendly anyway, as far as I've experienced. The quantity and level of sales are about even between the two. Personally, I try to get stuff on GoG if I can, and go with Steam if the game has a heavy modding community.
  4. Kinda? I play a lot, but I also don't take much interest in recent games. Fastidious?
  5. Well, while the real reason is probably "because toys", I don't see Twilight moving into the middle of Everfree forest - it's not only dangerous for others to visit, but rather out of the way. Twilight's closest friends live in or near Ponyville, so having to make the trek to see them, or having them see her would outweigh the benefits of settling in the princesses' old castle.
  6. Can't really make a review on my phone, but I'm wondering - anyone else getting a strong Winter Wrap Up vibe from this eppy, albeit in a different situation and with higher stakes?

Edit: I'm sorry, everyone, but it seems like I picked up some sort of throat bug and won't be able to do the reading today. I'll reschedule whenever I don't sound like Darth Vader and HAL's lovechild. A story about Trixie and an unnamed changeling hooking up as partners in... scam? I started reading on a whim and which seems pretty fun so far. The catch is, I haven't read ahead on it, so I have no idea what will be happening either! https://www.fimfiction.net/story/342710/trixie-and-her-amazing-pet-changeling A handy-dandy countdown! The Poniverse Discord, in the Storytime channel Type in ?rank Listener to join the listeners once you're there - that way you can get pinged by readers when readings are about to start. See you there!
  8. I'm thinking of starting a Starbound roleplay thread. Would anyone be interested?

  9. I'd say I'm flattered as hell, but also incredibly taken.

It was something I read on short notice a while back - I ran through the first two chapters, if you want to catch up to where I'm at. Also, for anyone else who missed the beginning, a short story-so-far will be provided. Bring your own snacks, though.

After a self-inflicted baked bads hiatus, I return to continue the reading of Trixie and her Amazing Pet Changeling, a story about Trixie and an unnamed changeling hooking up as partners in... scam? 12. I used to, but I'll be quitting it in a few months. Do you have trouble deciding between your favorite MLP characters?
  13. Where's all this happening?
  14. So, how do we find the actual conversation threads?
  15. I am super confuzzled. Do I just visit threads and try to piece the clues together, or do I need to interact with someone in someway?
  16. I'm not confident about the actress, even with the hint. I know I've seen the shots that it references from, though. Still... need to throw my hat into the ring, so best guess is still a guess.
  17. Weeeellll... maybe! -stretches head into the thread, cartoon style- These kinds of things can be useful, especially if you're planning to do a serious, or at least detailed kind of roleplay, and if it works, it can pay off better over time in a better story. On the other hand, it can also be fun to just wing things as you go along, even if they end up being out of character, contradicting themselves or ending up just plain silly - as long as everypony has fun, it's good enough. It's kind of like baking - you can invite a friend over to bake some muffins together and hope they know not to burn the kitchen down, or make a three-storey ice-cream surprise party cake and hope they're not lactose intolerant. For someone new to roleplaying, I actually recommend the first - it can feel less stressful, and there's plenty of chances for do-overs if anypony needs them.
