  1. Welcome aboard, Night! Wonderful to have you join our herd of fun-loving ponies! Many friends to be found here, after all, 'friendship is magic' and we take our magic very seriously (not so seriously that we forget to have fun though!) You're gonna love it here!
  2. I watched 'The Touch'. I never got to see the whole thing until now and it was surprisingly okay. I'm starting to like Michelle Yeoh more these days.
  3. I think I would abdicate. I don't have the wisdom to properly handle that kind of power. :awuh:
  4. Absolutely this! This and all other computer problems. They seem to be without end. I hate it when my computer freezes up when I'm in the middle of a conversation in my PMs and it makes me look rude when I can't send my replies.
  5. I have Star Wars posters. But most of them are obscured now by the Star Wars toys I have to hang on wall hooks to preserve floor space. I have too much junk.
  6. Mine didn't take a lot of thought or consideration. I needed an avatar when I signed up here, came up with the artwork and the personality just kind of sprang forth from that. It's based somewhat on me, with other elements from an OC I used on another MLP site I used to frequent. There's not a lot of backstory going on, just the basics.
  7. I got to sleep later than usual, so I woke up with a big bright smile instead of my typical morning scowl.
  8. Common sense should be used with such matters as these. Help should absolutely be given when and where needed, but those who don't really require it should not try to use it as a free ride or to get extra privileges they don't need. That just makes it hard for people to do the right thing, and the best intentions will quickly become a matter of exploitation.
  9. I talk to my friends here on the forums pretty much every time I log on. Sometimes I get swamped and have a hard time keeping up with PMs and such but I do my best. Aside from here, I talk with my friends several times a week. My co-worker friends of course are every day. I don't text or talk on the phone much. (Don't tell anyone, but I don't know how to text and I wouldn't want anyone to think I'm a complete noob or anything!)
  10. It's been a couple of weeks now. It wasn't your typical illness brought on by a bug of any sort. It was nausea caused by drinking too many energy drinks. I used to drink them like water but I guess I reached my tolerance limit with them and started getting sick every time I imbibed. I gave them up and I've been fine ever since. I hope it stays that way, I really dislike vomiting.
  11. I got kicked out of my own house for snoring too loud. But I'm sure you won't mind. HNNNK SHEWW...HNNNK SHEWW...HNNNK SHEWWWW...
  12. Well, you are a sloth, so I guess you're in the right place. I'd ask you for breakfast in bed, but it'll probably take all day, so skip it.
  13. Hm, armor, gun, tiger. SURE I'LL BOOP THAT! You only live once!
  14. Art is life! It's such a privilege to share in an act of creation!

If you can be comfortable with a Wacom I'd definitely recommend the Cintiq. It's not difficult really, it just needs the right program. I tried many but not the ones you mentioned. I kinda wish I had it back now so I could try them out. I'm not a bells and whistles kind of girl, so I'd be happy with something simple.

Hmm...Id be happy to try one out someday! What mediums do you use, and how do you do your digital work? ^^

I'm a hopelessly traditional artist so the mediums I use are oil, acrylic and watercolors paints, carbon pencils, color pencils and sometimes pastels. For anything digital I use Adobe PhotoDeluxe. It's far simpler and more intuitive than Photoshop or anything else I've used so far. I don't do much digital stuff, but when I do, that's the program I always go back to.

  15. Kind of down the middle, leaning toward the higher end of the scale. I started speaking in a higher register for a role I play and that kind of carried over into my everyday life.
  16. Maybe it's not a heart at all, but a really really really strange looking apple.
