  1. If Angel kissed me I'd feel highly grateful to start off. If I can get on his good side I'd feel I was doing something right. Then I'd kiss the little SOB right back until his fur crackled and his little ears stood on end.
  2. It may seem weird but my first was Tennis on the ancient Telstar system (which is the same as Pong, if you've even heard of that). My dad had an old Telstar system from back in the late '70s and I used to play it when I was little and didn't even know much about videogames. The game consisted of two little white paddles on screen that bopped a little white dot from one side to the other. It wasn't fancy but as a very small child I liked it. I still have a funny nostalgia for it. I grew up with so many of my dad's games and recorded TV shows I sometimes feel more like a child of his generation than of mine. It's cool though. I like having multiple perspectives.
  3. I love Space Jam. It may not be the most brilliantly written movie of all time but the toons make it fun anyway. It's a lot better than some of the more uninspired toon/live mixes we've seen like Looney Tunes: Back In Action and Cool World, even though it lacks the greatness of the classic Who Framed Roger Rabbit. The fact is, I can appreciate the effort and the idea. I like the toons and I like to see them interacting with the human live-action world. I always thought that was a great premise. I would welcome a sequel (especially with more Lola Bunny!)
  4. I was thinking about why credit cards have an expiration date. There really is no reason for it. They expire and the credit card company sends you a new card to activate. It costs money and resources for the company and accomplishes nothing. Not sure why I'm thinking about this. Too much time on my hands.
  5. Why would you have to abandon girly things? Embrace them! I know I certainly do and there's no reason to be concerned about it. I love girly things and I'm proud to proclaim it to the world!
  6. GREY all the way! I've always spelled it this way and it feels more natural. My word program always 'corrects' it for me to spell it 'gray' and I don't always feel like changing it back, but grey is really the only way to go in my opinion.
  7. Sure. I'll try not to get inhaled while doing it. *boop*
  8. Dick Tracy. It sucked when I saw it as a child and it still sucks today. Nice looking backgrounds though; very artistic.
  9. I was sanding a coat of gesso on a canvas, getting ready to paint soon. I'm so rusty I hope I can still remember what I'm doing.
  10. I think making traditional animation into 3D is fantastic. When Disney made Beauty and the Beast, Little Mermaid and Lion King into 3D they took on a whole new life. CG 3D animation is nice and all, but the novelty of seeing cel animation in 3D is too unique to dismiss. It's like walking into the classic cartoons I grew up with. It was like living the movie in a way I never got from CG movies in 3D. In many cases with CG 3D, unless the 3D effect is phenomenal, I usually stop noticing the 3D effect minutes after the movie has started.
  11. Absolutely! I love cartoon characters and the ponies are no exception. They're caricatures and as such they are designed to magnify the attractive attributes of who they represent. They're absolutely exquisite!
  12. I would love a fox. They're my favorite animals. But as a Pegasus I would probably want an animal that could fly with me. So I'll take a bird. More specifically, a blue parrot. It would match my colors.
  13. I can't believe they're still throttling this dead horse! The idea wasn't even that good to begin with. They managed to get by with the first two, but did anyone go to the others? I lost count of how many of these things they made long ago because they suck. The whole idea of taking classic fairy tale characters and deriving humor by making them edgy and modern is way over-used. They went back to pump this same dry well with Puss In Boots and it sucked too. Please, no more Shrek, I beg you! Ice Age is like it's evil twin. Another over-used franchise that needs to be concluded. Is it too much to ask for something new and original and allow the old franchises a dignified death?
  14. A nice blue and white utility astromech droid for all those tiresome mechanical chores around the house. And a prototocol droid, preferably with a nice golden plating, to keep everything civilized and running smoothly (not to mention keeping the aforementioned astromech in line if he goes off on some personal mission to save the galaxy instead of fixing my sink).
  15. I don't like the castle at all. I far prefer the Golden Oak library. It's far more casual and personable. Just because Twilight is now a princess doesn't mean she has to be less accessible and up on a pedestal. She seems like more of an unassuming princess who doesn't need to demonstrate how high and mighty she is. The whole story arc about fixing up Celestia and Luna's old castle seemed like it was a prelude to making it Twilight's place, but that whole aspect of the story just seemed to vaporize. Maybe Hasbro figured they could sell Twilight's crystal castle as a playset more easily than the more gloomy fixer-upper the writers conveniently abandoned. Also, is it really necessary to have the castle be just another crystalline monstrosity? I mean, we already have the Crystal Empire, do we really need a miniature version of it in Ponyville?
  16. Of course! Bibbidy-bobbidy-BOOP!
  17. Xanadu: Absolutely horrible but it fits a certain mood perfectly. Zombieland: I don't like zombie stuff but this one is funny and strangely addictive. Kick Ass: What a bunch of crap! Fun, amusing, entertaining crap! Pacific Rim: Simple and fun. Don't ask me why. Battleship: Simpler yet, and still somehow fun. Surf's Up: Just put your brain on hold and enjoy the pretty colors.
  18. Of course it's a promising idea, but promising ideas like this always end up costing more than the present standard, even if they initially claim otherwise. Once everyone buys into the idea on a large scale the price will magically go up. It happens with too many other areas of endeavor. Take energy conservation and solar and wind power. To buy and set up the equipment necessary to benefit from it, you end up spending more than you would on years of normal use on the grid. And just getting Supermeat on the market is another hurdle. Government won't take a stand because they don't want to be viewed as the bad guys out to put farmers out of work. It's just the same as alternative fuels for transportation; the oil companies and auto manufacturers tug on their politicians' chains and everything remains in its same stagnated state. And adapting the technology on a scale needed to mass-produce the meat would, as always, be passed right along to the customers, effectively defeating it's purpose as an affordable alternative.
  19. I think it sounds lovely. I haven't given it much thought until now, but it's true I haven't done anything like that since I was a kid. There is absolutely no reason I can see why adults can't enjoy it just as much. Adults need to relax and relieve stress as much, if not more, than little kids, so by all means go for it. I think it would be fun to be on either end of it. It just sounds so peaceful and nice.
  20. Strawberries, blueberries and Kiwis make a nice flavor combo. I also love anything with Passion Fruit or Guava.
  21. I don't go out of my way to seek men's clothing. The pants don't fit right and I don't like shirts with buttons that are situated on the wrong side. I will wear men's T-shirts if they fit me and have the right look, but those are typically unisex anyway. So I guess that puts me in the 'no' category. Some men's hats can be nice looking though.
