Not an easy pick for me. Let's see, of the mane 6: Rainbow Dash in first and Pinkie Pie in a close second. Side characters, I'd have to agree with others in saying Maud Pie (really any of the Pie sisters to be honest), and then Trixie (her mouth can sometimes spoil things, but otherwise she's quite a looker). I'd continue on, but at this rate, things would just become a harem lol.

So I'm a bit late to the party, but I finally managed to watch the MLP Movie and thoroughly enjoyed it. Must say the designs of the mane six was a bit jarring for me at first. But the real star of the movie, in my opinion, was Tempest Shadow. Such a strong character and was one of the most enjoyable parts of the movie for me (listening to her song now ). Which brings me to why I'm here! To share some wonderful Tempest pics with all her adoring fans, including me lol

I want to say I read a fanfic on this very topic, and it was an interesting concept to say the least. It wasn't so much that the ponies met humans, but that Equestria was actually just planet earth, millions of years after humans. Celestia, being aware of what humans were capable of (nuclear weapons, self destruction through wars . . .), with-held such history from the rest of Equestria. Plot-wise, I do not recall what happened (or the name of the story unfortunately), but I would consider it an accurate depiction of how humans would be treated in Equestria. If ponies would know our background and violent tendencies, then I can't imagine we'd receive the warmest of welcomes. A Pinkie Pie welcome song might be asking a bit too much. Also though, I think it would be fascinating for such a question to be explored where a pony ignorant of such knowledge would befriend a human, and then how Celestia and other royalty/government would react (especially if they were aware of human nature). Maybe in short, humans would cause more trouble for Equestria than good. Unless of course, that human is Batman.

This wasn't a bad finale, but wasn't one of my favorites. One thing that bothered me was bringing Starswirl and the others to present time and keeping them there. These legendary figures (for me at least) kind of lose their mystery and sense of awe when Twilight just brings them all back with a spell (granted she had help). I always enjoyed hearing about Starswirl, and even with some of the others in past episodes, and certainly would have enjoyed hearing more of their stories. But with all them in the present, some of that lore feels kind of lost now. Granted, I'm still curious as to how they will make appearances in the next season, and how they will be utilized. But some figures I'd like to have them remain in the past so that they only exist as stories, as legends. I like the wonderment and depth that goes alongside that. The focus on Starlight Glimmer somewhat bothered me as well. It wasn't so much that she was constantly being the voice of reason among-st everyone (though the resolution to the story became much more obvious as time went on because of it), but more-so how Twilight and the others ignored her. Specifically how Twilight ignored her, even after admitting that Starlight was right, she turned around and ignored her again. Those were my biggest issues with this finale. It wasn't too bad, but for me, it left something to be desired. As I said earlier, I'm curious to see how Starswirl and the others are utilized, but I also think the finale would have been much better if they would've had to put the legendaries back into limbo or somehow send them back for whatever reason. For me, that would have allowed these amazing ponies to be with us for a while and have a glimpse of them, but then having bigger things at play, the requirement to send them back to limbo (or where-ever) would have pushed them back into legend for everyone. Then it becomes like a glimpse of a beautiful star that you see in the sky only once before it vanishes into thin air, but the memory of the sighting brings out tales far and wide from different people who may have been touched by its beauty. It becomes larger than life, which is kind of how I would have liked these legendary ponies to remain.
