  1. Both. There are some wonderful classics from days gone by, and there are up and coming artists cranking out great stuff today.
  2. I'm sure time constraints had something to do with it. Honestly, this kind of "wow, that was fast" redemptions and the like are basically par for the course for this show, so I can't slam them too much about it.
  3. Originally right handed, but taught myself to be ambidextrous during my freshman and sophomore years in high school. Has not been as useful as I had originally envisioned. But still worth it.
  4. Finally got around to watching this one... It definitely isn't the strongest finale they've ever done, but it wasn't the worst either (looking at you, season 3). The concept itself was very interesting; and indeed, more fleshed out than I would have thought for this show. I did find the ending to be rushed; Starlight's acceptance of Twilight's argument was incredibly sudden and felt forced, but then again, this certainly isn't the first time that kind of abrupt turnaround has happened on this show either. Overall, I do like it, and while I also agree that it didn't really feel like a finale in certain ways, it was close enough that I'm satisfied with it. Can't wait for next season!
  5. Thankfully, they seem to be dying off in popularity, at least in my life. Easily the most annoying little things I've come across.
  6. People often think they're happy - or fool themselves into believing as such - in certain bad situations, and don't see how truly unhappy they were until they are forced to make a change, whether by their own desire or a push from someone that cares about them.
  7. Pretty enough that this has been my background on my desktop for a few months now.
  8. Pretty sure I've been here and done this before. Well, not here in this topic specifically, but, uh... anyway. Let me start off by saying this: I completely understand if someone hates smoking. There's plenty of good reasons to dislike it, although there's a few bad ones as well, but I digress. Now, with that said, I am a smoker myself, and frankly I don't give much of a damn who doesn't like it. Before you start angerly calling me out for being arrogant, let me clarify: as a smoker, I try my best to respect people who don't smoke. if we are friends, I won't smoke around you, in your car or your home if you don't want me to. I won't leave any cigarette butts in or on any of your personal property, and even if you're OK with me smoking around you, or if you're a stranger, I will still do my best to make sure none of the smoke ends up in your face or other personal space. My point is. I try not to let me habit affect those around me whom don't want any part of it. When I say I don't care who doesn't agree with it, I'm referring to the feverent anti-smoker types. Smoking is bad for me? No fucking shit. For the life of me, I can't wrap my mind around people who say this to smokers, as if they've never heard it before, or that maybe hearing it for the thousandth time will be the time they decide to quit right then and there. Some people try to defend it as giving "reminders". If you don't know this, there are "reminders" of smokings' negative health effects on every single tobacco product you can buy, so you're essentially wasting your time with efforts of futility. Oh, and that ridiculous overdramatic coughing when a puff of smoke just so happeneds to enter you personal space? Look, I'm genuinely sorry that that happened, but fuck off; it was an accident, and other than an unpleasent smell for a brief moment, you will be just fine, so drop the act. I personally enjoy smoking. I know there's people whom claim it has no positives (some I've seen in this thread), but I say, speak for yourself. I like the taste, I like how it feels when I inhale, I like the buzz I get from it, and I like the overall act of smoking itself. Yes, I am an addict, and yes, sometimes I do worry about the probable health consequences I may face in the future: but everytime I weigh the pros and cons in my mind, it always comes out in favor of smoking. Simply put, I love it. I recognize that I'm in quite the minority regarding this viewpoint, and as originally stated, I completely understand if you don't want to smoke yourself, or be around people whom are smoking. (And to those whom currently smoke, but wish to quit: it is, no doubt, extremely difficult, but just keep in mind that people have done it before, and people will continue to do it; it's not impossible, and if you keep trying you will one day succeed. Just find the method that works for you.) But I am sick and tired of being ostricized for doing something Iove, and that I try my hardest to keep to myself and from affecting others; I also recognize that there are smokers out there who smoke wherever and around whomever they feel like, regardless of the situation or the other people's well being, and litter thier smoking materials everywhere. Feel free to criticize these assholes. Tl;DR: If you want to smoke, go right ahead, just always be curteous about it. If you don't want to smoke, good for you, just don't be a dick to a smoker unless their behavior warrants it.
  9. I'm sure there's a way we could store it without having to harm the environment with it.
  10. Tired of minimum wage; it's my turn to move on up in the world.

  11. I really love "Hearts Strong as Horses", it's finely crafted piece. I also have really enjoyed the Babs Seed song and "Winter Wrap-Up." And who could forget "This Day Aria"? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UzsxfO7dBlA
  12. Simple stock HP mouse on my laptop, stock Apple mouse on my eMac. I'm pretty simple. But, I am currently waiting on a nicer mouse I bought from eBay for my laptop so I can be more comfortable when gaming.
  13. I have both desktop and laptop computers. I use both Windows 7 and OS X 10.4. Firefox or varient on all computers. I use a BlackBerry Q5 with BlackBerry 10.3 for my phone, and because your poll doesn't include this option it won't let me cast my votes on any of the other ones.
  14. My Flutters cannot bucking die! I would cry. A lot. I don't know if I could keep watching the show.
  15. I see so many on Facebook flipping their shit, and it's both hilarious and infuriating simultaneously.I just don't understand why this is such a big deal to anyone; is it really important that toys for your son are in a separate isle than toys for your daughter, and labeled as such? How does this affect your life in any way?
  16. I enjoy getting a haircut, but I like my hair to be as long as possible. Quite the contradiction.
  17. My gosh that is gorgeous! Definitely keep this up!
  18. I actually made a few, uh, transactions back in the day in such places. I'll say this; you can certainly find whatever it is that you're looking for, but you're gonna have to go through stuff you didn't even want to know existed first.
  19. Made it a little over eight days one time - for those counting, that's around 200 hours.of no sleep. Of course, I couldn't have possibly done this out of sheer willpower - I had a problem with a certain stimulant drug at the time. Hallucinations get pretty intense by day 5, and at the one week mark it was near impossible to tell what was real and what my sleep deprived mind was inventing. Nearly killed myself and my girlfriend on day 8 stupidly deciding to drive to another county out of boredom. After getting back, I realized I had locked my apartment key inside the place, and had to shimmy up a drainpipe to my third story apartment to get inside. I passed out, and remained as such for 34 hours. In short, I wouldn't recommend it.
  20. Yeah, it seems to be a pretty common complaint among fans that any lessons the Mane 6 learn in an episode, they seem right back to their old behavior the very next one. Can't really say I disagree.
  21. Relatively, he has. I mean, it seems like that whole concept is almost entirely foreign to this show, but at least to me, it feels like Spike isn't quite as immature as he once was. To a small extent, to be sure, but noticeable.
  22. I often wake up in the morning with a song in my head, for no purpose or relation to any dream or events that have occurred. This morning I had the bass-line from Pink Floyd's "Money" bouncing around in there. Could be (and has been) worse.
