  1. MLP was very popular back then, albeit primarily with little girls and toddlers. The other classics they listed are boy/neutral cartoons, which tend to have a wider appeal, especially back then.
  2. Yes, technically. It doesn't have to be good to be a game; it's just not a good game.
  3. I have a few Moondancer toys! I was glad to see her make an appearance in FiM.
  4. It counts. It's just not as cool. I haven't played either, though.
  5. I have a few G2s! Skyskimmer was my very first pony, though I've lost all of her accessories since I was a toddler. My favorite color was yellow and her eyes are peridot like my birthstone. There was a g3 game on DS.
  6. I already have a fursona and a few furry OCs, I don't feel a need to have anything more than a ponysona, and even that is more of an idea for a G1 custom. There are so many canon ponies, I just like to RP and commission art of them instead, using some character traits that I gave my favorite ponies as a kid. In a way, they're an OC aside from the design. I'm also from the MLP Arena.
  7. It's kinda like being a prince vs a princess. Basically the same thing but different enough that I specifically want to be a Brony, not "othered" as a Pegasister.
  8. I've only seen yeet in reference to throwing something far or with force. I.e. "I'm gonna yeet this disgusting sandwich."
  9. It's easy to represent yourself with a cutie mark, simple as that.
  10. Ponies are the focus of the show so it makes sense. Also, no other species we've seen has cutie marks, which make ponies special. I don't have a pony sona or any other species of sona for MLP but the species I like the most, act the least like me. (Kirins and gryphons)
  11. I have Applejack on my bed, complete with her hat of course. Sometimes I put G1 Starshine or G1 Parasol on my bed as well but Starshine has hair that can tangle easily.
  12. G1 had a real horse: Megan had a horse, that's how she knew how to ride Firefly.
  13. Since they did a collab with Spongebob or whatever weird mashup they've had at Hot Topic recently, anything is possible.
  14. I've liked MLP since I was a toddler so I probably had a typical reaction for a kid my age.
  15. As a trekkie, I've seen plenty of debate about the terms. From what I've seen, 'originally' a trekkie was someone who kinda just watchedand went along with it, and a trekker was a hardcore fan. Either way, I've never run into the term 'trekker' outside of Star Trek circles that referred to Star Trek fans. Trekker, like Pegasister, is less known as a fandom term outside their respective fandom.
  16. 1. Chief (g1) 2. Waterfire (g3) 3. Applejack (g1 or g4) 4. Firefly (g1) 5. Cherry Treats (g1) 6. Cheese Sandwich (g4) 7. Ivy (g2) 8. Sunny Daze (g3)
  17. Brony also means someone who is a fan of MLP:FiM, unless you have a slightly different definition.
  18. You know that brony conventions already exist, right?
  19. If they nod their permission, I probably would. I hope we see more of them next season.
  20. G2 Skyskimmer, basically skinny earth pony predecessor of Fluttershy. I got her when I was 2 years old. As for FiM, I think it was Rainbow Dash on a Tshirt at San Diego Comic Con in 2011. She replaced the horse in the Mustang car symbol and my friend explained the reference.
  21. Yall saying Hasbro should focus even less on non main characters.... do you realize how many "collect em (all)" toys are still being sold? Like Hatchimals and Littlest Petshop?
  22. When you say you're a fan, aren't you already labeling yourself anyway?
  23. I've already gotten 2 of the anniversary G1s, but I've loved all gens since forever, even if G1 is over a decade older than me.
  24. These responses intrigue me. Especially the opinions of 2 forum staff. I also didn't know if pegasister was still a popular term. I never liked the term but that's cuz it felt like you weren't 'special' for liking it, and bro is almost gender neutral in my area.
  25. I don't know, but someone was implying that you had to actively obsess over it.
