  1. You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. A place to be respected and feared, as they are merciless and will photoshop the living hell out of anything you post there.
  2. I've got a Dean 4 string acoustic bass and a Washburn 6 string acoustic guitar. I will get pics later, as I'm not home right now. I also have a Peavey T-40 electric bass, but it's on loan to my wife's uncle right now.
  3. After five days without internet, I can get my fix again. Missed this place!

  4. UHF was a great movie. Emo Phillips and Michael Richards cracked me up, as did Al, of course. As for saying that Al's music is "insulting" to great music, I don't think that's the case. The man makes quality parodies, better than the crap on youtube. There was once a time when having Weird Al parody your song was the highest of honors. The only time I can recall anyone being mad about it was Coolio and the "Amish Paradise" incident. I know from interviews with Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic that Kurt Cobain was flattered to have him parody Smells Like Teen Spirit.
  5. Just be glad you can hold a tune. I can sing, just not very well. And the quality deteriorates when I know someone is listening. It sucks because singing is my passion, yet I could never afford lessons. I want to sing like Claudio Sanchez. EDIT: Lost my train of thought. Those were quite lovely.
  6. As a man with quite a few tattoos, I should caution you about getting something you may regret. Not to say you will regret this, though. Just be sure to think it through, first. Out of the 12 I have, I only regret one. Just because you don't eat meat/meat products for several years, doesn't mean you should get a tattoo that says "vegan," because if you DO start eating meat again, you'll feel like an ass. Anyway, I have a tattoo of a zombie Hello Kitty. I also have a tattoo of a smiley face. But they both have meaning to me. Just make sure that you'll love the tattoo you get, and make SURE you really want it. With that being said, I want to get a tattoo of Vault Boy from the fallout games. And possibly Pinkie Pie's cutie mark.
  7. I got up at 6am, and went in to work at 7 for a FUN FILLED DAY of Frontier technical support. It amazes me how dense some people can be. Just because your modem is a wireless gateway, doesn't mean that you can take it out of the box and expect it to work... At least I got paid today. Good check is good.
  8. Haha, I'm glad we could persuade you to keep the facial hair. We will now require weekly picture updates to chart it's progress.
  9. Dune- while not a spot on recreation of the novel, David Lynch did a halfway decent job of cramming it into two and a half hours while still keeping it true to the story 2001: A Space Odyssey- Almost spot on with the novel. A fantastic and accurate depiction of space, accompanied by psychadelic visuals and classical music Blade Runner- Ridley Scott's timeless classic, a re-imagining of Philip K. Dick's novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? that leaves you with more questions than answers. Full of beauty and symbolism. Is Deckard a replicant? We'll never know for sure... The Producers- The Mel Brooks classic about an accountant and a failing producer on their quest to make $1,000,000 by producing the worst play ever made. Starring Gene Wilder and Zero Mostel. Highly recommended, much better than the remake. Jurassic Park- Jeff Goldblum as Ian Malcolm, need I say more? If I do, then DINOSAURS.
  10. I hug everyone. Friends, coworkers, family. EVERYONE. I believe in spreading joy through hugs and humor. That's how I roll, ya dig?
  11. "So let's hang us a hangman, we'll bury our burdens in blood." "I will call you out from shelter, burn your wings, you'll know no better."
  12. Some people are just ridiculous. I suppose that is the good thing about being a brony at the age I am... I can always say it's for my little sister,or my child, or a friend's daughter. If I REALLY need to pull some excuse out of my ass, I can. Most of the time people don't say anything when I buy my blind bags. I have gotten some weird looks, but I just smile at them and be courteous. There's something about remaining cheery in the face of persecution that makes people feel pretty uncomfortable.
  13. I'm not going to lie and say it's on par with the animation of the series, but it's definitely not bad. I like the concept and the symbolism a lot. The mane is short, and there's no tail? Not bad, though. Keep practicing and you may be onto something pretty awesome. I can't wait to see what you do next!
  14. Pewdiepie, Liam Kyle Sullivan, Dayjob Orchestra and Robbaz- King of Sweden! DJO does some of the most ridiculous Star Trek voice overs I've ever seen, and I love it.
  15. Oh man, I'm a butterfly now. I wish I was a moth... a MOTHMAN.

  16. At one point it was getting hit by a car. That was basically just a bunch of cuts that had glass in them, and I had to get a couple stitches. Then I fell down some stairs when I was 19. I was staying with some friends in Pennsylvania, and on the day I was supposed to come home I fell down their stairs and broke my right ankle in five places. I was over 300 miles from home with my first broken bone, first hospital stay, and first surgery. Quite an experience. Now I have a plate, 2 pins and 4 screws in my ankle. and two lovely scars.
  17. Tim Curry, John Dimaggio, Billy West, Richard Horvitz, Brendan Small, Jim Parsons and Patrick Stewart. Or we could round up the Lebowski ponies for an episode and have them voiced by Jeff Bridges, Steve Buscemi, and John Goodman.
  18. I can do this. When should I have this done by? Man, this gives me an excuse to put on my bowler derby and goggles!
  19. I like the new avatar. The mustache looks dignified and cultured, and I had absolutely NO idea it was you. Well played, sir.
  20. I'm totally down for this. How, exactly, should I do it? Should I just use Windows Movie Maker? Should I include the song in the background? I require answers.
  21. This is a very hard decision for me. I'm a big fan of Mystery Science Theater 3000, I've seen some awful movies, but I cannot claim which would be the worst. Time Chasers, maybe? The Twilight movies are pretty bad, as well. I'm not knocking the story, it is not my place to judge it, but the movies were done quite poorly.
  22. Oh man, I'm anticipating the crap out of these pictures. Ponies + Silent Hill= AWESOME. Just like ponies and Fallout... but creepier. Hurry at IKEA!
  23. I would take it if I didn't have a kid. I couldn't imagine leaving him behind. I don't really have a natural talent, though. I'd be stuck as a blank flank for life!
  24. I use a PC, mainly because I've used one my whole life and know Windows like the back of my hand. I have to troubleshoot Macs, so I'm slowly learning them, but I don't really like the way they're set up. It's too different for my tastes.
  25. Strongbow is alright, and Woodchuck is decent. I'd love to have some homemade alcoholic cider, though.
