  1. Doesn't really take five paychecks, but whatever. Nothing wrong with it at all as long as it's not consuming your life.
  2. >Onions Honestly, if you have money to burn, I can't see how it would hurt. I mean, having a large collection would look pretty impressive.
  3. Hmm, maybe they're just good guys with a lot of money, and have a hobby for these things.
  4. Guns, wars (The US Civil War the most), Old-world technology, cowboys, The Old West, Terminator 2, video games, relationships, and friends, just to name a few. Oh yeah, and I live and breath rock 'n' roll.
  5. I think that's all pretty cool, actually. Adds more depth to the fandom. I don't personally find reviews and Brony music to be that entertaining, but I love conventions and any sort of social events. I wouldn't say it's going too far though, not at all. Marrying a Twilight Sparkle plush, however, would be an example of taking it too far.
  6. Red. Nothing more, nothing less.
  7. I'm going to have to say Cowboy Bebop and Trigun, not only because they're the only animes I've really been interested in (Trigun was the first anime I actually finished ) but the songs played in them are also really cool, and Trigun's opening has some really cool animations and is generally very well done. Trigun's theme is basically one long guitar solo, which for some reason sounds a little like Black Dog and Paradise City. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SSX58TglZRs
  8. I was in The Great War, and I got shot. And I died. No. My two close brushes with death (or extreme head injury) coincidentally happened when I was in third grade. The first, and probably more serious one, was when my family and I went to a beach that has a reputation for having some nasty waves. I was having quite a bit of fun there, but let it get to my head. I went a little too far into the water during high tide, and got swept into a rip current. I didn't notice any problem at first, until I tried heading back to shore. No matter how much I struggled to get there, the current was too strong, and I didn't have enough energy to keep diving under the waves. I was almost near exhaustion, and sinking deeper, when I saw my older sister jump into the water. She swam to me, grabbed me, and I clung to her back. Little explanation is needed for this; she swam me back to shore and saved my life. Another one is when almost fell off of a dock that was hanging over a dry pond. *It was about a ten foot drop, I went headfirst, and there was garbage and splintery rotting wood below. Thankfully I fell on a board of the dock, which I didn't even notice at first, and was just hanging on by gravity pushing down on my torso. Scary thing is, the board could have broken right off, and there were rusty nails on it just inches away from where my torso was. I would say I also got pretty close to dying when I went to see Van Halen live. The badass rocking tunes were just so good, my brain almost exploded.
  9. Even though I'm a pretty shitty guy, I like this song, and have listened to it a gazillion times. It gives me hope and makes me feel powered up.
  10. Oh god, that kind of reminds me of Brokeback Mountain. Hmm, but they look so happy together!
  11. I like to say that my mission excuse as a Brony is a social one. I would like to think I contribute to the fandom by physically attending Brony meetups, events, and conventions, and sharing my ideas, insight, and opinions. I think I'm doing a good job with that, as generally I'm a pretty good guy at these things. Of course, I just wanted to say that to sound like I actually do something useful in this fandom XD. I guess sharing with others is somewhat productive.
  12. NOPE. Why? Well, the actual appearance of the ponies is what got me to watch the first couple of episodes, the visual and audio quality would be severely outdated, and a general eyesore to look at, and if everything looked like G1 from the get-go I don't think Bronies would exist. Wot.
  13. Not even over, but I know that it's my favorite season. I know understand what Meghan McCarthy meant a long time ago; the writers are taking some risks, which all end up to be great. We have even delved deeper into Equestrian lore, had a celebrity cameo, and a reoccurring theme (The crystal box). I really hope that all the other seasons contain episodes that are this awesome and diverse.
  14. Of course she's getting older, but she seems to be doing a good job of keeping Sweetie Belle's voice consistent. At least she hasn't lost her voice cracks. Not something I would pay too much attention to.
  15. I haven't been to Bronycon yet (Going this year, woo!) but I have been to Equestria LA, which is also a large Brony Convention. I went with my dad, which actually wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. I pretty much browsed the vendor hall, took pictures, and went to the panels and the rave. My favorite activity though, was socializing with my fellows, I met some really interesting and nice people there... including my crush. You could probably guess that i had fun, and am definitely looking forward to future conventions.
  16. Funny thing, way back in 2012 when I was first getting into the gist of being a Brony, I was actually jealous of her, and didn't like her or her attitude. Now, after seeing Read it and Weep, Sleepless in Ponyville, and Wonderbolts Academy, I'm happy to say she's my second favorite of the Main Six. I even have cufflinks in the image of her cutie mark and her hug me backpack from WeLoveFine. She's grown into such a funny, and deep character, and her character design has been great from the beginning. At this point she even reminds me of myself a bit.
  17. I did actually choose understanding in the poll, as I guess it is close. But an understanding person can still be understanding for you, but not for others. With a chill person, the understanding is usually mutual.
  18. 6'2", very nearing the 6'3" line. Youngest one in my family, but also the tallest.
  19. Man, I wish I had some plushies. I'd probably put them up on display though, but maybe cuddle with one of them.
  20. I'll go ahead and say one that isn't up there. Chillness Basically, someone who doesn't hold strong opinions, and doesn't flip shit at the littlest things.
  21. Here's a question. What would be the point for the writers to take the effort to make a difficult-to-write non-stereotypical gay character (Who will still obviously get flak) in a show that isn't even about sexuality and rarely has any sort of romance in it?
  22. I don't know man, remember Hearth's Warming Eve? It told a story that involved a norm of race-discrimination, just as it was back in the day in out own world. I don't see ponies as any different than humans when it comes to behavior. Hell, Ponyville's elementary school has more bullies than my High School. >Shows Shining Armor X Big Macintosh. >Shining Armor married to a female. Don't make too many assumptions ya'll. You know, not all parents are homophobes.
  23. Day of Defeat, A.K.A the game of camping, can make you giggle with delight when you keep on killing the same people in the same place in the same camping spot. That game even pisses me off a lot.
  24. Well, since it's been a long time since I've been away from the forums, I think it's only fair that I post a new picture of me. Also, I got swoll as fuck during my hiatus and I want everyone to see.
