Your Online Personality vs Your Offline Personality

I don't think it would change very much at all, because I have hard time believing that you all here are actually real people. And my communication problems lie mostly in speaking with my mouth. It is really hard for me to say things out loud especially if they are personal things. In internet its easier because I can write them. I've never said out loud some things that I've told about myself here

Thats okay! I perfectly understand. Thanks for responding! ^_^ I guess the thing to take away from what I said then is just know that I do think you're pretty cool! We should chat sometime too. We're friends after all!

Online: Talkative, free, and open!

Offline: Don't talk much, feel like I should hide things of me, and I guess I said the opposite of open already XD.

Offline: I can be outgoing and funny, but sometimes I just like to keep to myself. I'm also shy around new people. I like being happy, but people in my life constantly irritate me and I might come off as a bit rude sometimes.

Online: First off, I use bigger words and better vocabulary online. :P

My personality depends on the community or group of people I'm with. I try to be nice and friendly to everyone and I'm also more willing to share my thoughts about stuff. It's easier to talk to people and make friends. On the Internet, I can think before I type instead of just saying something in real life without thinking and regretting it.

Online, it depends on if it's a forum or a chat.  With forums and other places where it's just comments, I probably come off as more of an ass than I actually am.  If it's a chat, then there really isn't much difference if I were talking face-to-face with someone.

Online, I'm outgoing and speak my mind freely and I'm always there to lend a hand

Offline, I'm quiet and reserved. I rarely reach out to people and, just by looking at me, I wouldn't be the type of person you'd seek advice from

They're the exact same, except I act differently around my dad.

Like I'm super talkative and active and then when I'm at the house with my dad I'm super reclusive and dont say much when he talks to me. My dad has nothing to do with it, I think it's just because I'm not around other... people? for the lack of a way better term.

Online: The King Of Depravity (Hyped up and evil the fun kind)

Offline: ThatOneGuy (Quiet and a pushover and very pessimistic and a little cynical)

Online I speak English
Offline I speak Norwegian

So that's a pretty big difference :D

Other than that the social norms are different offline and online, but I generally follow them.

Online has a more open social code, except when it comes to swearing and sex, for some reason.

Offline being different, or trying to explain why one is different is not allowed. Unless you can laugh about it.

When I'm online, I tend to be pretty relaxed and civil. If there is somebody trying to annoy me, I would simply ignore them. It isn't worth getting worked up over somebody you'll never see face-to-face. But I can be a lot more blunt on the Internet than offline. Sometimes it goes a little too far, even.

When I'm offline, I am more temperamental and stubborn. I won't give up on something until it's finished. Because of my quick-tempered personality it's usually what puts me in most of the issues I put up with all the time. I can also come off as a bit of a dork too, since I stumble on my words and have a hard time processing my thoughts. But I tend to be a little more sociable offline, and like to do many things while out somewhere. I am also a lot more patient offline as well.

In real world I tend to stay away from just about everyone excluding family and close friend (exactly one). I'm totally shy, introverted, I can't start a conversation and things like that. Also offline, I am a thoughtful guy, I think alotta thoughts about alotta things.

But online I become a little louder, I can talk more than normally. I'm also ready to share my opinion, I'm not afraid everyone will make fun of me. I'm better person in the internet, I think, or at least more sociable.

I swear a lot more when I'm offline. I also use far more contractions.

Online, I'm a bit more well spoken. More serious.

I honestly feel like a somewhat different person online. I am more open, more confident, and much better words online. Offline I am very shy, nervous with my speaking, and much more closed off. I'd say my enthusiasm for things I enjoy carries over to both though. :)
