I'm gonna post some Mayhemimg-1369822-1-UNZJLhS.png  Because I can't remember the last time I or anybody posted any Mayhem on here. I loves Varg and his bass playing <3

I've been getting into more Megadeth songs lately.

Damn, this song is so good. I can't decide if I like the Metallica version or the Megadeth version better.

Horseapples. You KNOW you like the Megadeth version better. wink.png

Since we're talking 'Deth here, I'll post the song that's been stuck in my head all morning long. Something tells me Rainbow and Scoots would dig it:

Definitely the best *recent* album from these guys, IMO. I hope Super Collider doesn't disappoint.

Well the Metallica version is longer, plus I'm a bigger Metallica fan than Megadeth fan.

Speaking of Endgame, I can't decide if I should get that or United Abominations. They both seem pretty decent.

Depends on what "style" of Megadeth you're into. UA has a somewhat more mainstream appeal, musically speaking, and is pretty political in nature. Endgame returns them to their harder, thrashier roots, and is...slightly less political. Haha.

This song's probably the hardest one off that entire album, which doesn't say a whole lot:

Don't get me wrong, UA is worth owning if you're a fan. It's just not as intense as Endgame IMO.

Well I like Rust In Peace the most out of all their albums, so do you think I would like Endgame more then? I also like Countdown to Extinction a lot.

Well, look at this. Looks like it's thrash time.

Here's some Overkill.

Yea, Overkill! Overkill is 10000x better than Mainstreamtallica.

Destruction, Destruction is 100000x better than Mainstreamtallica.

Dude, that joke is getting really really old...you literally say that every single time you post any thrash band. It's at the point where it's just annoying now.

Hmm...well, to be honest those are a couple of my own favorite albums, so I'd say Endgame comes a little closer to capturing the magic of both of those than UA. But then again, it also kind of depends which songs off those albums you're the biggest fan of. If you're into the more mainstream hits like Hangar 18, Symphony of Destruction, Sweating Bullets, etc. you might like UA more. If you're more into songs like Holy Wars, Take No Prisoners and Architecture of Aggression, go with Endgame.

: I see your Oppression and raise you one ripoff:

I really like every single one of those songs you listed lol. Hangar 18 and Holy Wars are my two favorites off of Rust In Peace, and Symphony of Destruction and Architecture of Aggression are my two favorites off of Countdown to Extinction.

Anyways, I'm gonna post some more Anal Cunt.

Anal Cunt is probably the greatest musical act of all time.

...You're not making this any easier for me. happy.png

In that case I'd say just to go with Endgame and save UA for a later date. UA's good, but I feel that Endgame comes far closer to capturing the essence of old-school Megadeth.

I wubs me my Destruction. Schmier's got one of the most distinguishable and badass voices in metal IMO.

I was listening to They Might Be Giant's Dial-a-song compilation when suddenly BOOM, Thrash Metal song out of nowhere.

Now I see why it's called the adult version.

I'm suprisingly gonna continue the thrash trend. Whenever most people think of South American black/thrash, they think of Sarcofago, or Sepultura's early work. I think of the extremely underrated, awesome band of deviants known as Sextrash.

The only reason I know what this says is because I took Spanish in high school lol xD

And now I guess I'll post more thrash metal:
