He'd probably just be a fake brony for the publicity, and dear god, dat negative press. Given all the accusations that plagued him for much of his life, it'd really take the "Bronies are pedophiles" thing to the next level.

I think he would've been a fan of the show, but not enough to be a brony.  Many of the morals are things that he's sung about in MANY of his hits, as well as represent of the good things that he DID during his lifetime.  Also, he has a daughter who's young enough that he could've been exposed to the series early enough to have been among the first celebrities to have become a fan.

One can be a fan of something and not be... well, a fanatic.  Great example: Star Trek.  Just because someone is a fan of Star Trek, it doesn't mean that they are a trekkie.  It's the same thing, here.

I wouldn't mind if MJ was a brony, honestly we have Gabe Newell in our ranks of watching the show, but whether or not he claims to be a brony is another topic in itself. I personally don't think it would be in his taste to like it, but you never know.

I'm sure he'd likely get a lot of bad rep announcing he was a brony if he was still alive to this day.
