Which of the Mane Cast's Parents/Family would you like to see more of/know more?

So of the main cast (I'm including Spike in this as well), whose parents would you like to see more of in future episodes/possibly season 5? Or other family as well.

Note: you can select more than one answer as well.

 

I figure it would be interesting if the show introduces more of the family back story for some of the main cast, or at least shed some more light on them.  I figure it would be easy to weave them into an episode's plot.  Doesn't have to revolve around parents and I guess could also include other family relatives as well (I just had parents on my mind at the time).

All of them except Applejack (assuming her parents are dead): I would prefer to see her family less often. I find we see her too often as another member of the Apples family.

 

But really, episodes about the mane 6 ponies' family are lacking in the show.

Don't think we would have luck meeting spike's family since Twilight hatched him from his egg some years ago, without every getting a glimpse of who the parents were (or maybe Its in a episode I missed)

Mostly though I'd like to see Twilight's family a bit more since I'm a fan of Shining armour

Twilight's parents! They're shown in a fair few episodes, and we don't ever get to know them more. I'd like to know how they feel about Twilight's title as a princess of Equestria. c:

 

I also want to know Pinkie's parents more. Many fans seem to theorise that they're abusive or whatnot, but I can't really believe in this considering that they liked Pinkie's first party. I'd like to know why they always run a rock farm and seem always bored.

Aside from knowing what happened to Applejack's parents, I'd be down with seeing more of Pinkie's family and what life down at the rock farm is like.

 

After 4 seasons of absolutely no mention of family for Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy, it would almost be jarring to see them now.

I want to know more about Fluttershy's family! We haven't even seen or heard anything about her parents yet. Hopefully Hasbro will explore her background in season 5.

I'm starting to wonder if Pegasi have parents. Maybe they reproduce like the parasprites. It's possible that parents just up and leave their kids when they're young, and dump them in flight school, which may be like a boarding school. Either way, the parents of both Pegasi appear to have been out of the picture prior to the flashback in The Cutie Mark Chronicles. It could also be that they just keep their distance, like with the majority of parent characters that are still around. I would still like to find out more about them though. Heck, is Fluttershy an only child? I think Rainbowdash confirmed that she is. I might also like to find out more about Twilight's parents. I doubt it would be possible to find out more about Spike's, but how and when was his egg acquired by the academy, and was it stolen?

I had to pick Fluttershy based on the fact that she's the only one with no known family. If Scootaloo was on this list, I'd definitely have picked her too. Both Fluttershy and Scootaloo being separate from their entire family opens the door for those two to share an episode as well. It might be a Pegasus thing.

I'd be confused to see spikes parents, but whaterver.

Twilight's parents. I know we've technically seen them the most, but we literally know nothing about them. I can only wonder what it must be like to be the parents-in-law to the Princess of the Crystal Empire and not only have a son who is/was the Captain of the Royal Guard, but also a daughter who was not only the personal protege of the highest ruling force in all of Equestria but who is also now a full fledged Princess herself. They could very well be the most prestigious family in all of Canterlot, if not Equestria for all we know.

I want to see a flashback to AJ's parents, because I seriously want to know what happened to them. We haven't seen Fluttershy's parents either, and I would love to see more of Pinkie's and Rainbow's parents.

Well, I'd love to see more of Twilight & Shining's parents. They're the parents of a prince & princess; I would love to see how they deal with that bit of knowledge. XD

We know absolutely fucking nothing about Fluttershy's family, and I wanna know, the way the show puts is that she just fell down from Cloudsdale as a filly and her parents never even cared, not that we see on screen anyway, I mean c'mon...

It'd be nice to know more about where Spike came from too. Pretty plz?

We haven't seen anything of AJ and Fluttershy's parents, besides the shooting stars we got in Apple Family Reunion for AJ.

 

We've seen a tiny bit of Pinkie's parents, but what happened after her parents started being happy?

 

For Rainbow Dash, that stallion who's back she was standing on in Cutie Mark Chronicles may have been her dad, even so, it would be interesting to see her mother, I think.

 

As for Twilight Sparkle, we've seen a bit of her parents, but I would love to see more of them! See how the Sparkle family acts when all together, we haven't seen that much of them.

I want to know more about rainbow dash's family and twilight's too. Since we only glanced at them in a few episodes, I'd want to know more about them. Also how come twilight's parents didn't show up to her corination?
