Youtube seemed to be better a few years ago. Now, it is full of overused bad jokes (lluminati confirmed, r8 m8 gr8, tip your fedora), trolls who think "gay" and "autistic" are insults, religious people/atheists arguing all over the place even at kitten videos, pretty much just people trying to prove everyone they are better by spamming and having the last word.

 

I had a guy curse me in 10+ comments because I said i'm against WW3 and we're all equal people. In the end he apologised and said he respected my calmness, but still supported WW3.. Probably was trolling, but by the number of replies he left i don't think so.

I dislike posts under rock-type music that says 'I'm fourteen and I listen to this music, not today's crap'. Um, I'm fourteen and I like listening to rock, but I also like pop too. These sorts of comments imply that personal preference isn't a thing. I don't like rap, but as long as people don't shove it up my face I'll respect it. These are the kinds of posts which make people hate teenagers >.>

 

Also, I was once watching videos for Asian Politics class and on one for North Korea somebody posted 'these people need Jesus in their lives to be happy!' ...incorrect theology, and an even more incorrect thing to say.

What mostly annoys me about youtube comments art people that hate on games (if the video is about a game). Then there is the roleplayers in the comments of pretty much every video I watch..

I hate it when people have no support whatsoever to help with their argument for something. For example:

Person: This episode sucked.

Me: Why?

Person: Because it sucked.

 

It annoys me when people roleplay as characters from the show, from having an avatar of the pony to having their display name of the pony, and making comments on videos like "I was awesome in this scene!".

 

I hate when people overuse swear words in their comment to try offending someone/sound cool. Actually, I hate when people do this even outside of YouTube comments.

 

I hate when people disable the replies on their comments. What's the point of posting a comment with an opinion and not getting feedback on it?

 

People who use "gay" and "autistic" as insults.

 

Ignorant and inconsiderate haters of any kind, the ones who express their opinion in the meanest way possible.

 

That's defiantly an annoyance cause it shows how desperate they are for attention.

 

Another one is when someone with a pony avatar tries to make an argument, and someone replies with an ad-homonym of "You have a pony avatar, so you have no valid argument." Do you really hate bronies that much?

I hate the many trolls that are scattered across Youtube. Nowadays I hardly ever read the comments, unless I know there isn't going to be a lot of hate.

One of the things I hate most about Youtube comments is not being able to keep myself from scrolling down them even when I know that all kinds of stupid is going on in there. It's like I have this desire to reconfirm what I already know I will find. Once in a while I'm surprised though and I find civil conversations between people who are actually talking about *gasp* the video's original topic! Yeah...   If I had to place my two biggest hates on YT comments: arguments that are not even on topic and really any serious argument that happens on a video that is not a debate or "argument" video to begin with (which is also like getting off topic).

All I ever see in those sections are arguments. The two competitors don't even know who either one are, or their life stories - but apparently kicking up a fight with someone online is fun? Heck, if you did that in real life, you would get clocked around the jaw.

 

Homophobes are all over the place, followed by anti-bronies, racists and all this 'HALF LYFE 3 CONFURMED, ILLUMINATI CONFURMED' mumbo-jumbo.

I hate what Google did to them in 2013. It's easier to spam and shit. I shouldn't be able to write Fallout: Equestria in the comments. People link to viruses and shit now, and Bob, fucking Bob. The comments were bad before the google plus thing, but at least they were more restricted.

Usually only trolls do this. I think they do it because they know that they lack the IQ needed to actually defend their crap point of view.

 

Also, it got so bad on my channel that I had to actually disable all comments on all of my videos. A good comment section is a disabled comment section.

I hate the YouTube content sometimes. Comments is sometimes amusing. I mean i object sometimes, but its written text. "Nothing i can't handle : 3). Like when i saw that "My vagina is growling" Or "My penis is ready". Due to that Kingdom Hearts 3 vid, that just made me smirk a bit.
