As for the Ambie part... Well, I honestly just have Happy as an outwardly good chap, but a real sarcastic meanie on the inside. So apologies for comments like that, and about how evolution should have handled Ambie years ago. All in character, in more ways than one.

This is is Holiday notice!

You can relax, it's nothing serious. Not shutting down the thread or anything.

Just letting you all know that as I am leaving to visit family for the next two weeks, responses may become erratic in that time. I will do what I can to keep it going, but just letting you know so you don't worry,. or get too disappointing.

Most replies will also be done by phone, so there will be a lack of colors in a good chunk too, at least initially.

  You know, were it not for one of my characters already being involved, I'd know just how to hamfistedly interfere with the cart. But I am trying to keep Ambie's tale to a more Slice-of-Life/Humor sorta story. Besides, kind of feels like it'd fit more towards the Boom siblings.

  Y'Know. My giant, ten-foot MechaCrab scavenging for mechanical parts off of whatever's in his way.

          ...N-no. My other OC would be inside of it. Look, I haven't completely fleshed him out. I'm just baiting for interest at this point.

A little over a half hour until midnight in Denmark. Likely that I will forget to write at the exact time though, so Happy New Years to you all.

It have been a great year with you all (though 2017 as a whole can bite me) and I look forward to RP'ing with you in 2018 as well.

As a new years resolution, I aim to have Ponyville rebuild without anypony destroying it! (looking at you two @Widdershins and @Lloyd, foul players of mayhem and destruction. )

Joking aside, gonna need to go off again. But before I leave, enjoy some fireworks, and take my thank you for making the current year tolerable. You guys/gals/interdimensional beings rules.

While I do appreciate the interest, I'm afraid that you have to go through a bit of a talk here on the OOC first before you can be in the post. We need to get it done to see who we're dealing with, and how best to place you, as there is a lot of atory around, and it helps to know for example if any of it is something you wish to be part of, and then fill in on things.

As such, for the time being, your post in the RP will be ignored. Sorry.

Yup Lucid does have reality warping abilities with his stick, but is limited due to not unlocking the full power of this stick, so don't expect anything too overpowered.

I'm a fair bit confused.

 You seem to be skipping a bit of what I'm telling you. Like, been saying you won't need to go find any more wood since I remember Ambie's original stuff mentioning there was extra wood already. But think we're good there? Don't know what it is that your Happy did there so I don't really know how to just step into it and give it a go. Some sort of a harness?

 Smokey seems to keep reiterating a point I thought Widd already cleared up, that it was all magicky hoopla, not that he actually invaded their bodies on a literal sense, but I can understand that he ain't exactly in a position to be calm about things. I am trying to play off Widder as less of a manic loose cannon, before things started to wear on him. That's going to be a bit hard to do if nopony is willing to sit and listen to him and grasp the situation. Point is, think you're kinda glazing over the fact that he isn't really "your" Draconequus from earlier.

 Though, I can work around that too. I'll be getting around to the @~Phoenix~ leg of things tomorrow.

  Kind of... been really hard focusing lately... lot of... might be moving soon. To Japan.

  So you actually have two entries for your character, @Lucid_Nightlight? You know you can edit together and redo them? So far, doesn't seem too terribly much to go on for personality. I mean, it's not enough to just say that he's crazy, kind of need detail or a bit of a story. Y'know, investment I suppose. Like, we talking Pinkie Pie crazy or everyday pony craziness?

If you mean the ones back in 2017, those are old and nolonger resemble my character. I tried to go in and edit then specifically, but it just said the page does not exist, so I just made a new one.

Well, there's two new ones even though I made one. Maybe I should stop before I embarrass myself any further.

   Do feel I may have come across a smidgen too self-important the way I kind of just immediately sized up everything happening around me, but I got a reason for that. Do not hesitate to call Widdershins out on anything he knows. I'm aiming for a more deductive reasoning rather then inexplicable knowledge.

i feel a bit...stuck at the moment. without any help from widdershins, i'm not entirely sure what to do next beyond glare at him and wait. or, whatever. afraid i've just hit a bit of a block. perhaps i can get some help?

i'll just have to force my way through this one i think. i mean, i have to break down the wall in order to really get jumpstarted again. 

and just like that, i'm done with that reply! it was a tad easier than i expected. i feel as though i sometimes hit blocks when the situation seems stressful. but i mean, i gotta make my character deal with those too, huh. just have to put myself in that situation. really it was just a case of getting my propeller blades jump started. once i did, the rest came easy. we'll see how it goes now!

(I don't know if the format came out right, I did format it, but it came out all weird for some odd reason)

 

Here is Lucid's bio. Not all of his limits with the reality stick are listed, but just know that there are many limits keeping him from being too overpowered, so don't expect any deus ex machina.

Another thing to understand is that Lucid was born in the normal MLP universe, but lives in another universe.

The plan for the rp is to start out by Lucid ending up in whatever universe this rp takes places in because of his lack of some silly mistake.

As for the main storyline, I'm not really sure yet. I might just go with whatever happens.

@~Phoenix~   Well, should say that I consider forcing anything to feel like a bad idea.

I somewhat figured that Phoenix had fair enough ground to want to make the first move. After all, she left in a huff and now she just got chewed out and talked into coming back to be violated once more in the same circumstances. Though I suppose that latter point hasn't yet been made clear to her. Your character has every right now to be about demanding answers! 

 Or rather, should I say, expound further upon simply a righteous glare. If they have questions, then they need to bring them up, lest they get buried in any continuing shenanigans like, say, somepony's soul necklace exploding in the next room while her father is disposed. If not of mine own character, then perhaps attempt to weasel out an awkward explanation of what's happened so far out of Smokey. 

Pander the serendipity of thy Wanderlust! Lest thy acuity lose its elasticity! 

As much as I enjoy being a catalyst, I can't just explode into everybeing's faces all the time! That'd be predictable then! And I'll arm wrestle anybeing who calls me predictable!

...though not with my own arm. I ain't got arms.

 Well, that's the thing too, Yeller. We ain't got any continuing storyline or continuity here! All you need do is tell Blitz Boom here basically what you'd want to do in Ponyville, and start from there. Hence the title of Casual Stroll. You do what you want, and just try interacting how you will with those around you! Granted, currently we're rebuilding Ponyville from something that happend... a year ago, I think? But that's far back enough that it ought not be terribly important to you.

  If I may be so bold to interject, if you aim for something more Slice-of-Lifey and general socialization roleplay, @Lil' Lovebug is more or less wandering about with not many to bounce off of. And, from what I grasp, they be basically a Changeling Lounge Singer! 

 Really, you let us know what you want to do! Blitz Boom is the leader here, but I'm just likely the most outspoken on these threads!

  Though, to be fair, if you pick ol' Boss Boom, they'll practically keep you all to themself for months on end and if you pick me I'll just... just drive you as mad as I possibly can.
