This song reminds me of too many fandoms to count, really. I have tons of shippings and MLP is no different. I think the lyrics of the song can be applied to pretty much any shipping.

It's the song of the Blue Angels, and the Wonderbolts are based on them.

I always think about MLP when I listen to the song Everywhere by Tim McGraw. I have no idea why though.

I know this song is about the land of Oz, but it could just as easily be about Equestria.  "why oh why can't I" is exactly how I (and a lot of other bronies I'm sure) feel about the idea of living in Equestria.  Also, the fact that the word "rainbow" keeps being repeated over and over again, really makes me think of Rainbow Dash and also that rainbow lazer beam of doom the main six use.
