I used to be kind of picky when I was young. But no longer. Now I love food of all kinds because I view it more as an experience than mere sustenance. I like to try things I've never had before and experiment with interesting combinations. The fact that I have to watch my weight also increases my interest in food (forbidden fruit and all that). There are a few things though that I never did care for, regardless of my adventurous palette, and they usually include certain veggies like canned peas, creamed corn and lima beans. In which case I'd rather eat barkdust. :yuck:

I'm not very picky at all. I mean, the only thing I absolutely refuse to eat are lima beans and bean soup. :mlp_gag: Other than that, I'll eat just about anything. I used to be slightly more picky when I was younger but I quickly grew out of it....I was raised to eat what's put in front of you or go hungry. My mother's motto: Eat it or wear it.

Not exactly. Though, I only like eating what I want to eat when I want to eat it. You give me something that I don't want right now, I will not eat it.

Hm. It really depends a lot on my mood. I do tend to like foods I'm familiar with over ones I've never had. I think a lot of this also has to do with my autism. Most autistics are very picky eaters... or so that's what I often hear about. *shrug*

I suppose I'm pretty picky. The only reason people say that though is they can't fathom the fact that I can eat the same thing every day for an eternity. Other than that, I'm more or less just picky about textures of food. Food is dry, water is wet.

I can be, but only because of food texture or smell. Like I can not for the life of me eat bananas due to the texture and smell but baked into banana bread I can eat the stuff up. Spinach is another one where if I smell or feel it in my mouth I gag, but if its place with other things like in lasagna I'll eat it. (this is how I trick myself into eating things I don't like tbh)

Food is my favorite thing in the world and I love all of it, but most people would consider some things to be food that I don't, such as animals and anything that comes from their bodies, and chemicals and processed garbage.

There are certain foods I don't like such as eggs and any fat on meat or most fish really. Yet I mean I feel it isn't my choice what I eat or not it all depends on what I need if I need eggs then I will have them simply I do them my way. Personally I prefer cooking food I don't like myself to try to cook it in a way that I would like it. So am I picky eater, yes and no I am picky about what food I like but even if not I try to implement it in my diet. You know a lot of food has certain benefits for you and having a variety of healthy food is healthy for you. Though I do eat meat I believe in only doing so once a week and try to have my dining plate conist of vegetables and fruits preferably but of course I also get a lot of meat everyday.

I'm a very picky eater. I'm the sort who gets nervous about upcoming dinner parties at someone elses house. That conflict of not wanting to eat things you dislike and not wanting to offend your host who really put the effort into it all. I mean what is the best social etiquette in that situation. Tell them no. Or try not to offend them by eating and then throwing up on the dinner table? Tough call.

There are a few things I'm picky about. For example, ranch has to be Hidden Valley, I only like Mt. Olive pickles, I only like medium cheddar on my salads, I only eat meat well-done, and I don't like bruised fruit. There are a few others, but I don't feel like remembering them all right now.

Yes in the worst way possible, lol. I'm much better with foods now than I was 5 years ago, but I still will pick apart something that has another thing that I might dislike.

Oh yes, I am a picky eater. Sometimes I'll eat just about everything, then other times I won't eat anything except some other foods. Granted, I was a lot worse about it several years ago, but I still get a bit picky with food.

I wish I wasn't, but I am quite a bit. I always have been. My biggest issue is that I am quite sensitive to texture. An example would be me eating a food like noodles, which are soft, not knowing it has some vegetation in it and I get the crunch of the veggy in something I associate without it. That unexpected change-up in texture will most likely immediately make me gag and spit it out, like my body is rejecting it immediately. Texture is also why I don't like eating different foods like watermelon or any kind of melon really, apples, lettuce, anything with coconut on it, and plus there's other foods I simply don't like the taste of. I tend to not branch out of my food comfort zone ever. I am very much stuck in my ways in that regard.

I'm picky in terms of ingredients usually. Say I have a pizza in front of me. I'll take out the mushrooms, the olives, the onions and the goat cheese to be left with a cheese-only pizza when I'm lactose intolerant. It's great~

If you have parents who stuff you with all kinds of crazy things when you are very little (tabasco sauce, onions, peppers, mushrooms, etc), you are bound to not be THAT picky about things.
