gone~ 614 March 14, 2015 Share March 14, 2015 I don't hate my voice, but I don't 'like' it either. I feel like it just doesn't fit with me...

Kyoshi Frost Wolf 41,732 March 14, 2015 Share March 14, 2015 I basically despise how my voice sounds. I think I sound like a dweeb, but that's just my opinion. Some others have said I sound cute but I'm just like "Hoooooooooow?". I mean, that's neat if others think that though. I don't know why, I just don't like my voice when I hear it recorded.
RainbowPastel 185 March 19, 2015 Share March 19, 2015 I HATE hearing my voice!! I think I sound like a boy! I guess that is normal to feel that though. Judgement 445 March 19, 2015 Share March 19, 2015 It's weird hearing my voice on a recording. I sound much deeper on a recording, but in my own head I sound high-pitched when I talk. 1 Tom V.S. Boulder: Who will win?
1Bit 1,531 March 19, 2015 Share March 19, 2015 I'm not as bad as I used to be for sure...still think my voice is a bit horrible on recordings though ---< Fanfic Writer, Music Maker, Film Director and Voice Actor >--- Don't expect anything incredible though! Radiance64 7,053 March 20, 2015 Share March 20, 2015 I'm always genuinely surprised at the contrast of how my voice sounds comming out from my body vs on a recording/how other people hear it. I do like my voice either way though.
SparklingSquirrels 21,354 March 20, 2015 Share March 20, 2015 I don't like hearing my voice recorded either :S. It sounds completely different to me than when I'm not recording myself. 1 ֍֎֍֎
Felix 1,363 March 20, 2015 Share March 20, 2015 (edited) I have a deep voice, and when I listen to say a voice message I left on the phone, it freaks me out. Most guys want deep voices and personally when I listen to mine I almost really wish I had a higher voice. ._. But when I speak to other people, no recording involved, I'm still deep but it doesn't sound freakishly deep. It might just be phones and the like that make my voice sound so much deeper. Least I sure hope that's what it is. Edited March 20, 2015 by Felix Credit to Kyoshi for the awesome signature!
SteffieMusings 295 March 20, 2015 Share March 20, 2015 When I first heard my own voice, it really didn't sound like what I had thought it had sounded like. I actually felt embarrassed how young it sounded, especially since people said I sounded like my mom. Now, I am used to it. My O.C. Sweet Light My O.C. Porcelain My O.C. JonasDarkmane 19,788 March 20, 2015 Share March 20, 2015 Well, I fell awful after listening to my voice in a recording. However, I can sometimes sound like Cristopher Lee, but otherwise when I'm not trying, I can sound awful in recordings. Tacodidra 61,291 February 4, 2018 Share February 4, 2018 I really hate it. As a kid, I didn't feel the same way, but hearing a recording of my voice as a teen was a shock to me. I had always thought my voice was more flexible and that I could sing decently. I guess I should be glad I found out the truth before making a fool of myself somehow. 2 Signature by @Sparklefan1234
Dreambiscuit 10,094 February 5, 2018 Share February 5, 2018 Like most people, I don't like the sound of my voice recorded because it doesn't sound the way I think it does when I hear myself speak. I don't know if I sound different because of the acoustics inside my own head, or if the recording equipment is inaccurate. I sound okay in video recordings, but just audio alone doesn't sound right.
Miss 6,234 February 5, 2018 Share February 5, 2018 When I hear my voice not on a recording I think it sounds awesome and when I hear it on a recording it just sounds ok. Like disappointing almost. I mean many people have told me your voice sounds awesome this and go narrate that, but while I think it sounds ok, it does not sound as great as it does to me. Floofie 799 February 5, 2018 Share February 5, 2018 I really don't like my voice. Whenever I listen to myself speak, I'm reminded of just how terrible it sounds. I really wish I sounded more like how I do in my head.
