I'm sure the first thing that came to everyone's mind upon seeing her was 'drugs' and 'hippy'. I'm not sure if this was the intention of the writers, but I would love her a lot more if the show staff did ​toss in a few really obscure marijuana jokes to poke fun at themselves. I don't mean to sound like a downer, but her personality was really irritating for me, I guess it just seemed a bit cringy in my view.  :okiedokielokie:

Proof? I don't see how their interactions show a deeper relationship than friendship. However, how the characters acted about "going to the Gala with someone", Discord's reaction when 'Shy touched Treehugger, and the like might be telling of a deeper relationship.

Now that we are into her, one Mexican friend of mine told me hours ago that in the Latinamerican dub of ponies, Tree Hugger will be voiced by someone called Christina Hernandez I think  . Judging by the way he said it, she's probably a big shot in that region's dub
